I had my ablation on Friday 16th Dec 2022.Everything went fine but I was on the operating table for about 5 hours.
I have a narrowing in my oesophagus so access was difficult.
Anyway I had bad chest pains on the Monday night so went to A&E where I had blood tests which found I had a rising Cardiac Troponin level of 643 then 665.
The doctor was amazed at how high the levels were.
This would normally indicate a patient having had a heart attack.
Can I ask is this normal to have such high Troponin levels 4 days post ablation?
My ECGs were normal sinus rythmn with the occasional blip.
I would appreciate some feed back as the high Troponin levels have me scared.
