My mom had PSP and was the same... When she broke her wrist... she said it was fine... doctor confirmed it was broken... she insisted it was fine... doctor fixed it anyway... Same with her broken hip! Sending Hugs of Encouragement...Granni B

Thank you for your reply. Family cant understand how he never feels anything but did think PSP played a part in that.

Same thing, my mom would fall and be injured—scalp wounds, broken facial bones, broken wrist, hip bruises—no pain. Though she did get seem to get backaches.

My husband is the same. I call him iron man. He is black and blue from his regular falls but never complains so it does seem from reading your posts that it is due to the illness....nature helping them cope!!
