Tuesday morning woke up with sore glute on left side and (after a bit of googling) seems I had injured my abductor muscles on left side. Have rested and applied plenty of deep heat yet the muscles are still tight and restricting my movement. Not painful as such any more but I can tell that I really should not run right now which is very frustrating.
Actually did my first 5k in Wk 9 R2 and want to do another but I just know I would be asking for trouble right now.
