A week of lessons!
Last week I convinced myself I couldn’t run in strong winds (40+mph) so I missed a week of running! But I do the Parkrun with my neighbour each week and so despite the strong winds we went! I survived and was only 20 seconds off my Pb. Maybe I got a push from the wind. Lesson 1 I can run in strong winds

Awake at 3.30am again ...... aching in shoulder blades which have felt for the past couple of days. I am wondering if it’s the size of hydrocortisone tablet I am taking for 4 weeks. Can anyone advise? My first 2 weeks of 10mg tablets where a decent size & my afternoon dose of 5mg was easily cut with

Adrenal fatigue - a chronic or reversible condition?
I have been asking myself a lot of question lately about adrenal fatigue and the best way to treat it: I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in late 2011, by a so called Hertoghe doctor in Belgium who used blood and 24 h urine analyses to diagnose it. At the time, I had spent 11 years on thyroxine without

T3 overcharging where are we? Just seen report in I Paper that MHRA are after two companies re overcharging for hydrocortisone tablets.
In a "box" within the article they mentioned Actavis and Concordia, re hydrocortisone overcharging but nothing about overcharging for T3?! Any news via Lord Hunt?

Between a Rock and a hard place.
I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2016, having felt unwell for some months. My GP’s diagnosis was confirmed by my Rheumatologist. I was started on 20 mgs of Prednisalone and after 6 weeks, I started to taper down gradually, using advice from this forum. I pretty much managed my own condition apart from

Help with pain down there
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me considering my doctor doesn't know what's wrong with me :-( Before Christmas 2018, so over a month ago, I had what I thought was thrush. Very intense itching and soreness. I just used a soothing cream and didn't use thrush treatment. For the weeks after this

8 years post circumcission
Still getting bouts of Balanitis despite have the circumcission 8 yrs ago. Only thing that gives any relief is the 1% hydrocortisone cream on prescription. Have tried lots of OTC stuff but nothing seems to work. Getting an answer/solution from docs is a nightmare even if you can get in to see one. Have

Sudden skin rash and splitting fingers
What is this? I do not believe it is eczema!!!! I was 100% healthy and fine until a miscarriage that lead to a procedure called a "DNC" where I was put under. I swore when I woke up, I felt different, strange and just wrong. I knew something was off immediately like they had left something in me after

Amber zone treatment
Hi all I am a brittle and severe asthmatic with a history of circa 10-14 admissions a year and multiple ICU admissions under my belt. Luckily, I’m relatively well between these flairs and am able to work. My local hospital is great and the consultants and respiratory ward nurses and drs. work hard

Taking T4, T3 and Hydrocortisone together?
Question re: taking meds together: Hello, Thanks for all your posts and advice; this is a helpful forum! I understand that the recommendation is to take your T4 (Levo, etc.) on an empty stomach to maximize absorption. Can you also take your dose of T3 and hydrocortisone with your T4? What if those are
