Hay Fever on herceptin
Some reassurance for anyone suffering - my consultant casually dropped into conversation that being on herceptin can make
hay
fever
symptoms worse 🙄 I've always suffered and take high dose antihistamine every day but still getting itchy eyes/runny nose, the whole thing. But now I know why...

What causes pleural effusion (stage 4 Adenocarcinoma)
My mum was admitted to hospital tonight as she was becoming breathless on very little exertion. The chest X-ray showed a pleural effusion and I am just wondering what can cause this? Does it always mean a malignant effusion? As far as we know my mum has metastases to her bones, adrenal glands and lymph

Diagnosed with emphysema aged 37
Hello, I'm 37 and have just been told I have emphysema. They've also noticed a shadow at the bottom of my left lung which is going to be investigated, although I've been told it's not like sinister. I smoked from the age of 16 - 24 years, then on and off for the next 3 years. I quit at 27, and have stopped

Weird chest...
I had been training for a marathon and was noticing after each long run (26km+) I was getting a strange feeling in my chest when I was in certain awkward positions, but quickly went away. After each run it was getting worse (even after 5km...) and this sensation was not going away. For about a month

Gluten free and hay fever
This year I don't have
hay
fever
! This is the first time for 35 years. I have been gluten free for 8 months now and think that this must be the reason. Has anyone else found this?

Almost three weeks post ablation - SOB
I am 2.5 weeks post ablation. I had two AFIB episodes in the hospital the night of the ablation and since then just had a raised heart rate a couple times lasting for less than 30 minutes. But I feel so short of breath. They did a chest x-ray last Friday and no fluid or infection. Doctor said it

Chronic chest pain that won't go away
I have been having chest pain since I did a colonoscopy in early May 2017. For the chest pain, a cardio doctor did all kinds of heart tests (ekg, echo test, stress test (with and without the dye), heart CT scan and two chest x-rays). The only things that were found was minimal pulmonary and triscupid
