Use of X-ray in diagnosis??

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing ok!!

Yesterday my GP sent me for a chest X-ray to see whether I have a thymoma.

I seem to remember reading a CAT scan/MRI was the way to look for this...

Anyone else had an X-ray and was it helpful?

Thanks x

I had contrast CAT scan, not x-ray so yes I think you are correct.
