PACs
I’ve tried magnesium (taurate, glycinate, & citrate), potassium, taurine, d-ribose, CoQ10, cut out caffeine, electrolyte powders,
hawthorn
, motherwort, and even beta blockers (metoprolol and propranolol). Nothing has truly decreased the burden.

PACs instead of AFib
I take
hawthorn
/magnesium glycinate/taurine/CoQ10 daily. Had my first episode this year in June and thought it was strangely a lighter episode than usual. Then 2 wks later another "light" episode that lasted just a few hrs and was able to count heartrate and was 112.

Perfect!
The impression that’s strongest today are the smells, bluebells, primroses,
hawthorn
, daisies, cowslips and dandelions all mixed in with the freshness of the river, the path gravelly but even, doesn’t make for fastest running but steady. at around the 2k mark I started thinking about toast!

Tinnitus on four day cycle.
I think it may been aggravated by
Hawthorn
tea (leaf and flower) which has in the past been beneficial for my heart. Does anyone have any suggestions as what could lie behind the cyclical nature?

Is anyone self medicating with blend of Bugleweed, Motherwort, Scullcap, Hawthorn, Lemon Balm
I am looking to self treat with a blend of Bugleweed, Motherwort, Scullcap,
Hawthorn
, Lemon Balm, but I have read that Bugleweed can increase the size of the goitre , so I am a bit reluctant to experiment with out asking if anyone has tried it with success or not? Any advise would be appreciated

A tougher run but still fab!
So I slowed down, in case I was a little fast, and reminded myself to look at the world around me - cow parsley just starting to go over,
Hawthorn
(May) blossom looking awesome, verdant greed hedgerows, birds, clouds - that's a big reason why I love to get out ☺️ And I finished the run ok, in fact finished

Trying and trying and trying to run further!
The
hawthorn
is in bloom and every now and then and the breeze hit it and a great waft of warm scent drifted past. I will do a couple of short runs this week and maybe next week have another go at 9k and see if I can run all of it. There is also some serious scope for doing it a bit faster!

A sunny ‘out of the blue’ 8K on my baby elephant route ☀️🏃🏻♀️🐘☀️🏃🏻♀️🐘
My pace for the first two K was nice and easy as I headed down the side of the bay road , full of
hawthorn
and whin hedgerows with a multitude of birdsong coming out of them . My usual Mr & Mrs Wood Pigeon were in their usual spot and the blackbirds don’t bother shifting when I run past .

Happy, drizzly annual leave runs
Weather was deliciously drizzly, the fog matched the white
hawthorn
blossoms on the side of my path and the few dog walkers out and about were ultra friendly.

W2r2 with a Spring in my step!
The
hawthorn
hedge has new leaves starting to add a splash of bright green to the ends of the twigs, primulas are shining gently on the grassy banks, and a few clumps of daffodils are already blooming!

Thunder not lightning! 🌩
It took a long while to catch her up, and then what felt like an eternity to overtake, but thankfully the footpath bent around a
hawthorn
hedge and I became blissfully, albeit briefly, out of sight.

7k again at last!!
Mind you I have made 9 jars of Crabapple and RosehipJelly, 5 of Quince and
Hawthorn
Jelly, I’ve pickled several jars of onions, batch baked loads of cakes, and painted my sitting room wall where the tiling has finally been finished around what used to be the fireplace.

What experiences have you/anyone had with the CALM HEART supplement capsules? I question it's safety to take with APIXABAN and BISOPROLOL
It has
Hawthorn
extract, Garlic, Valerian extract, Motherwort extract, Magnesium, Folic Acid, B12, B6. I don't know it it is available in Canada and the USA. Frankly I wouldn't use it as some of the items in my opinion are contraindicated with Apixaban or any other blood thinners.

"To keep the body in good health is a duty...
Tangled hedgerows, bramble-wrapped and
hawthorn
-edged are small one's very own Brambly Hedge and we try to spot the little mouse characters as we walk by. Hipped and hawed and holly-berried , the first wonderful glossy shades of winter are showing themselves.

The gift of the live of nature.
He showed me that you can nibble new buds of
hawthorn
called Bread and cheese or squeeze the milky white kernels out of young barley to eat if you are hungry. Dad called the seed heads in this photo Goats beard.

One week old today!
A friend suggested we put gorse under the
hawthorn
where the nest is located to deter curious cats. We don’t have gorse handy but we do have an horrendously thorny shrub so we put branches of it under the
hawthorn
. So far so good. 🙏🏻🤞 So thrilled to be able to watch them grow.
