CALM HEART sold in Europe by Aconitum has several herbs in it. It has Hawthorn extract, Garlic, Valerian extract, Motherwort extract, Magnesium, Folic Acid, B12, B6. I don't know it it is available in Canada and the USA. Frankly I wouldn't use it as some of the items in my opinion are contraindicated with Apixaban or any other blood thinners.
The other one is HEART CALM by Vital Biologics. It contains A Natural, Fast-Acting Formula with Magnesium Taurate, Glycinate, Malate and More, Potassium, Electrolytes and CoQ10.
Not trained or an expert but I have studied Herbs and supplements for many years and personally - I wouldn’t chance the first if you are on Biso. Motherwort could enhance the affect of the Biso and lower BP. Some people are wary of Garlic + Apixaban. Garlic as a food I have found to be essential but to be avoided as a concentrate if on anticoagulation.
The Heart Calm sounds OK - may help electrolyte balance but personally I would work out your own dosages of what you want to take and buy, add in one at a time and consume separately eg: I take 120-200mg of CoQ10 daily, can’t see that 30 mg would make much difference. They come in 100mg or 200 mg capsules usually. I wouldn’t ever take Magnesium orally as it is contraindicated for another condition I have and I am always wary of anything containing Potassium supplements.
You are much more likely to know if a particular substance is affective for you or if weakens you if you add in one supplement at a time, under the advice of a suitably trained professional, rather than buy a mixed supplement which usually doesn’t have enough of a substance to do much good but may have the potential to harm.
Almost every doctor I speak is in favour of CoQ10.
