#1 Symptom Reducer
I am a PwP and 56 years old. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all of the information, sometimes conflicting, out there regarding treatments and supplements. I am trying to determine what to try first. I am a predominantly tremor parkie. I exercise regularly & eat well. I take levadopa 25/100 4x a day.

Update on Dipyridamole
Talked to my Doctor and he felt that taking Dipyridamole as needed was OK. In two months I have had three bad nights. To me a bad night is going to bed and getting back up in 10 minutes, when ya know ya know. So that is the good news. I am also going for a blood test next week, that should be

My glove upgrade lost its buzz..
Hi, My PD/Tass glove prototype seems to have lost its “buzz” when my partner swapped the old/vinyl look (on the right in the picture) with the clean new look (on the left in the picture). Using the SAME power/arduino etc. it seemed that it should work great until I put them on my hands and realized

Humorous
So I woke up last night and had burning and itching on my lower legs which I have experienced intermittently since I was 9 years old. It was more constant once I started injecting. It has gone away and has not been an issue for over a year. It felt a bit different than before and I went with put some

itchy 🤯
Hi everybody. I have an itchy scalp that is driving me mad. My skin itches too and I’m 100% certain it’s a side effect of the Rucaparib I am taking. Can anyone recommend a shampoo that will ease this ? I also suspect my hair is thinning so I don’t want to exacerbate that. I’m also worried about using

More Folic Acid Safe?
Hello, im trying to get my head hair and other body hair to grow again. As a female that's important to me. My d3, even supplemented, was normal but only 50 so I've doubled intake. The folic acis is 400 mcg and I take two of these daily too. Now I've recently seen a video on Tracey Witty site

serum Alkaline phospharase abnormally high
hi My SLT results are usually all over the pace and dance around the 200/300 mark, but recently had a reading of over 600! I started taking Colysterimine for the itch (which is still driving me to distraction) and I’m thinking it’s this that is affecting the SLT result. I’ve swapped how I take my dose

Worried about taking Provera for late period
At the start of the year I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have very long cycles as a result. This cycle I'm on has been really long and I've been getting pms symptoms for a while because of the length of the cycle. I'm going on holiday in less than a week and would like to have a period before I go, to

Ketamine - a profound experience
Three weeks ago I went for a Ketamine therapy visit. My goal was to reduce my anxiety and get help with my existential fears. Had tried Effexor, but didn't like the way it made me feel and was concerned other anti-anxiety meds would do same. Ketamine is a short acting anesthetic, but at a lower dose

New treatment for Parkinson
Has anybody tried LENs Biofeedback?, it is a relatively new and non invasive therapy to Parkinson to improve parkinson's symptoms like tremors and bradykinesia.

Temgesic/Buprenorphine
Jelbea and Shumbah have both posted recently about Temgesic versus Buprenorphine and the different half life of these 2 medicines. Both have Buprenorphine hydrochloride as the active ingredient BUT Temgesic has a much shorter half life. This means it will have to be taken every 6 to 8 hours throughout

Nails!
My nails are really deteriorating, soft, bendy, peeling. They’ve been poor for ages but this is much worse. Nothing topical is helping. I’m on 75 mcgs levothyroxine and my TSH levels are good - and on 0.01 % estriol cream for dryness. Could it be that which is making the difference, although I was

ALP and when to add 2nd line therapy
I was diagnosed Feb. 2022 ALP was 307. Started URSO right away. ALP went down quickly - In July 2022 it was 107 but October 2022 was 119 and April 2023 was 120. So my specialist wanted to add ocaliva. I convinced him to give it another 6 months before adding anything and he agreed. So I am praying

androgen receptor inhibitor for nmCRPC
So if you become castration resistant. Your PCa will grow without androgen. Your MO will recommend an androgen receptor inhibitor. Why bother inhibiting PCa androgen receptors if it can survive without androgen?? Confused.

Why the Hesitancy in Recommending Combination T3/T4 Therapy?

Temgesic/Buprenorphine
Hello everyone - especially those of you on Temgesic or buprenorphine in sublingual form. Shumbah posted recently about the short half life of Temgesic as opposed to plain buprenorphine hydrochloride. At that time I did not respond as I was back on oxycodone as per suggestion of my neurologist. However
