hi my daughter in law (26yr) had an IUD placed in early June. She now has bradycardia and suffered a terrible fainting episode. Hospital said she has vagal syncope. Has anyone else got bradycardia after an IUD placement? Thank you Tina

Atrioesophageal fistula (AEF)
Heads up to those undergoing cardiac ablation for Afib…had my ablation 12/6/23. Everything went great! Been in normal rhythm ever since! No bleeding, no hematoma, no real discomfort. However I woke up to abdominal pain, pain between shoulder blades and sore throat. 3 nights post op woke up to a burning

Anticoagulation considerations for newly diagnosed AF members
This is a post particularly for newly diagnosed members who maybe concerned at some of things they may have read recently about the increased risk of bleeding due to taking anticoagulants. First SI, the pain, ouch!
Hello everyone, Asking for help again on my SI journey please 🙏 Yesterday I did my first IM injection into the thigh following a video by a UK GP. It hurt much less than the one I had done in the arm at a clinic 2 weeks ago (to check no allergic reaction) so I thought great, this is the way to go

A Kinda Update.
As things stand I have finished my BCG treatment which it seems has failed. I visited my GP and she asked how I was - gave me a script for to wet my mouth and some Folic Acid. I mentioned so pain I have in ribs - not very bad but there,. She prodded my ribs and yes there was some (not bad pain).

weird mouth symptoms on Sulfasalazine
Has anyone experienced anything like the following? I’ve been on Sulf for 7 weeks, max dose from 4 weeks. In the last 3 days I’ve had a sore tongue which has now settled but I’ve completely lost my sense of taste. I’ve tested and am negative for covid. I can’t think what else it could be!

Movicol/colonoscopy prep for IBS relief
Hi all, I have predominantly IBS-D but occasionally I have bouts of horrific IBS-C (I can go up to a week without any bowel movements). This is accompanied by horrific bloating/acid reflux and uncontrollable eggy gas. It can go from a few days to months. I’ve had to be signed off work before because
