I just had surgery 16 days ago I didn’t think I’d be having a period for a while but I came on and I’m bleeding a lot, but it’s not going on the pad? It’s only when I wipe but it’s constant blood I can sit on the toilet and wipe 7 times and still have blood on the tissue.. worried as online it says 3

New small sub cut needles..
I've recently bought the small needles after advice on this platform to change from IM to Subcutaneous and advised not to pinch skin. However yesterday my daughter was discharged from hospital following surgery and the nurse demonstrated giving blood thinning injections with longer needle pinching

Blood Results - and poor treatment/support from NHS - feel lost and unwell
I have been diagnosed severe Graves with high antibodies for about 8 years and suffered a number of relapses where usually end up in A&E. Due to reading a lot on this forum and other websites I have refused RAI treatment due to the often poor outcomes and don’t really want surgery either as read about

What Do I Do Now?
Quick recap...... I have seen several doctors over a period of at least 11 years complaining that I wake early every morning feeling very unwell. I have said that it feels as if I am recovering from something traumatic that happens during the night and have always wondered why no doctor ever suggested

Preparing for Open Heart surgery
So last year I was diagnosed with a 2cm ASD and was awaiting surgery on the 5th January via catheter. Nerve issues?
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has nerve issues -

just like that, another BFN 💔
Sad day today ☹️ Very grateful to have some frozen. Those with endo or implantation failure, what tests did you do before your next transfer, if any? I’m thinking pgt-a, NK cells and maybe a biopsy to check my lining? I also in two minds about whether to have excision surgery for my endo before we

post op gyno appointment
hey guys, I had a laparoscopy about a month ago where they confirmed my endo and found some nodules and cysts hiding in there. How long did you have to wait to hear back of results and to talk to the gynaecologist after your operation? Calling the hospital where my gyno resides is practically impossible

Shingles - to vacc or not to vacc
Morning wonderful hive mind. Wonder if I can pick your brains... I've received my first invite for a shingles vacc and while I'm "delighted' I'm on the map with local medical network I'm daunted and unsure as to whether I book one. Came on here and had a look-see in the posts regarding shingles and

5 courses of antibiotics
Hi. I have been prone to uti's for 50 years and recently had a very bad uti which took 5 different antibiotics to treat. I can't get to see a GP (Uk) only been able to get an appointment with the surgery paramedic. I've just finished a week of Nitrofurantoin which settled the symptoms, but now 2 days

Anyone had hand therapy for Chronic repetitive strain injury of the wrists?
My question is has anyone ever had hand therapy for chronic tendonitis or like a chronic repetitive strain injury in your wrist? And if so did it help with the pain? This is the only thing that I've not tried besides obviously I've not tried surgery and I asked my orthopedic hand dr about it and he doesn't
