Hi to everybody on this brilliant Forum.. I hope you all had a good Christmas!

I am really struggling with awful head pins and needles for over a year now on a daily bases, the pins and needles is in my face, arms and legs. My eyes are very blurred and painful,. My optician says I have Optical Neuritus in the left eye and loss of peripheal vision in the other and a Cataract that needs surgery on. I have seen a Neurologist who is doing tets for Multiple Scerlorosis. I walk like I'm drunk and have to use a stick now, which I'd rather not and try to manage without it.

I have had an MRI which has revealed a Pineal cyst in the Brain, Pituity adenomas and 3 Thyroid Nodules, one of which is 60% cancer which I'm having more tests for and seeing the ENT Surgeon for next Friday.. Yeah, lots going on with me.

For the last few weeks I beeen having awful earaches, popping in them. ringing and nausea and awful headaches and pins and needles down my face. Had hearing test yesterday which has showed slight loss of hearing and vertigo. GP put me on vertigo meds but not helpin..

I always thought things moved around wirh Vertigo, but he said no. you can have weird head sensations with ear problems.

I'm so very tired, confused and feel like I'm giving up the will to carry on. NO APPETITE and loosing weight.....

Sorry to rant my buddies.

Any advice greatley appreciated.

Happy New Year to you all

what an awful lot to have going on. Can’t say your symptoms sound like the many gifts from an acoustic neuroma but what I do know is that all you can do is really attend to yourself through the stresses of not knowing what’s happening to you exactly. I found really focusing on calming myself, ( hypnotherapy via the brainstrust helped a lot) and really really being kind to myself, treating myself as I would a loved one and doing the things that most de-stressed me ( and eating small amounts, little and often, high protein, and drinking LOTS of water ( recommended by the vestibular physio for balance) helped headaches and balance. I do hope all those symptoms calm down and you find it all much more manageable. Good luck! X Lin
