Control and Treatment of SIBO and IBS
Hello, this is my general response to help people find a baseline. First, go to the doctors and get yourself checked for intestinal infections, and whatever other tests they want to do. Most people find they are all clear, and that IBS is a condition brought on by our modern diet, freely accessible

Help to read blood test results, please.
I wrote a post last year, on behalf of my daughter, who has been experiencing symptoms of hypothyroidism for some considerable time now. Sadly, her GP is adamant that there's nothing wrong with her thyroid and has been dosing her with all sorts of other medication, to try and alleviate the symptoms,

"showed dose-dependent inhibition of DU145 cell proliferation with 47% reduction at 1000 microg/ml. NS showed a dose-dependent inhibition of both MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression by PC-3 cells and MMP-9 expression by PMA-treated (200 ng/ml) DU145 cells. Neither MMP-2 nor MMP-9 gelatinolytic activity was detected

Help with supplements/dosing please?
Hello (I am currently on 25mcg a day of levo. I definitely feel underactive, having particular problems with inflamed gums that I have posted separately about. I also have Grave's disease (in remission)). Had blood test in December to check my vitamin levels, would welcome thoughts on changes to supplementation

Magnesium Types
Magnesium Glycinate and Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate In this form, Mg is bonded to the amino acid
glycine
.
Glycine
is a large molecule so there is less magnesium by weight, but the
glycine
itself is a relaxing neurotransmitter and so enhances magnesium’s natural relaxation properties.

Build your body
Yea that’s likely an outbreak. It’s called viral shedding without blistering. The burning when u pee is likely bc of blisters in your urethra. So here’s the honest truth about antiviral meds. They are made by pharmacy companies to create dependence. If you start them, they clear a breakout by minimizing

Stiff Persons Syndrome
I was recently tested for autoimmune problems (I also have vitiligo, an autoimmune condition of the skin) and they found that I have Anti-
Glycine
Receptor Antibodies in my blood. This directly correlates to me now, more than likely, having an additional diagnosis of Stiff Persons Syndrome.

magnesium for pain or cognition
It’s a combination of two molecules of the amino acid –
glycine
, with magnesium in the chelate bond (also called tick binding).

Blood testing b vitamins, and other essential nutrients
b2- whole blood riboflavin b3- whole blood niacin b5- not offered in Australia b6- whole blood pyridoxine b7 urine organic acids for biotin- just two- 3 HIA, and methyl crotynyl
glycine
b9, and b12 are regularly tested anyway. ADEK- I think it was whole blood for all 4.

RLS Help, no drugs
When I first developed RLS 10 years ago I got rid of it by limiting saturate fat in my diet and completely cutting out gluten. Gluten was the big trouble-maker (I made repeated attempts to check this out, it all confirmed it). However, I developed it again in a big way when I cut dairy out of my diet
