Coldsores and L-lysine! Advice please ☺️
Hello lovely people, So I need some advice - I’ve got the worst cold sore and it just wont go away. I generally suffer from coldsores and usually get one or two a year. I used to take L-lysine vitamins from holland and barratt and found it helped keep them at bay. Since finding out I had a BFP I have

Coming Off Statins - Update - December 22, 2017
I'm writing this in February about my last blood test a couple of months ago. I'm always experimenting with my diet to assess its impact on my blood bio-markers. Most recently, prior to my December blood test, I started having 4 squares daily of 70% cocoa dark chocolate (Lindt). For the first time, I

Amino Acid Protocol and Nausea
Happy New Year, I am writing to see if anyone has advice regarding my mom's nausea on the amino acid protocol. She had been doing well on the Mucuna pruriens at lower doses, no nausea in particular. Her movements seem to have improved, and she's been hiking and walking around a zoo, etc. this holiday

Cholesterol Advisory Board in U.S. Tied to Statin Manufacturers
There's an old saying - 'the fish stinks from the head down'. Here's a link to an article which itself contains evidence supporting its finding - that those who are responsible for establishing the cholesterol guidelines in the United States are receiving compensation from statin manufacturers. https

Update on coming off statins after 20 years
just like to share with you my progress .after 20 years of being on a statin 10mg liptor /crestor I finally dispatched them to the rubbish bin on the 20th Nov 2017 . Sounds very bravado doesn't it but in essence I have wrestled to do this for many years . A triple bypass in 2005 made me seriously question

Normalise the TSH to keep doctors happy?
I have just spent two days in hospital for a suspected autoimmune condition ( autoimmune Encephalitis) after they found anti-
glycine
antibodies in my blood recently. I have had a spinal fluid tap and the results will take +/10 days.

Betrayal - Episode 2
Inflammation actually uses up your nutrients as in methyl donors, glutathione, taurine,
glycine
, etc. The importance of stomach acid cannot be exaggerated. A pH of 1.5 is necessary and if you taking acid inhibitors you can raise that to a pH of 5.0 which is the same as vinegar.

Herpes Stress! I'm pregnant
I'm pregnant with my 3rd and contracted HSV2 herpes from my husband pre-marriage around 15 years ago. After the initial outbreak, I didn't have another episode for over 10 years! It was dormant and I forgot I had it. Now post children, I get regular & continued outbreaks. All stress related at the moment
