Ok. I have a 15 yo daughter. She has been overweight her whole life despite what I fed her. She is very tall, and a solid girl. She started puberty when she was 7. She’s suffered with constipation her whole life. Diagnosed autistic at 7. Has severe anxiety and very poor self esteem. Has been self harming

Diabetes Type 2, PD and Berberine
Diabetes is a common disease that affects many Americans and 90 to 95% of diabetics have Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). I will be discussing T2DM and one option to help deal with it effectively based on multiple studies. Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is significantly less common so I will focus this discussion

Exercise, heart rate and bisoprolol
Hi all, I suppose I could really do with someone who has had a similar situation. I am 9 weeks post AVR, single bypass and aortic root reconstruction. I feel great, that is the most important thing. I am exercising, walking 2-3 miles a day (around 6000 steps) every day. I am taking 5mg ramapril, 5mg

Metformin....
Has anyone seen an improvement taking metformin vs not taking metformin. Contemplating a 5th cycle but feeling hopeless when I get so many eggs but no blasts. The only time I ever got anything to freeze was cycle 1 long protocol and metformin. Cycles 2,3,4 all antagonist and not on metformin. Not sure

Metformin/B12 deficiency
Hi, Looking for help for a friend. Her husband is diabetic and on Metformin. He’s getting worse with lots of symptoms and the GP says it’s his diabetes. I’m still quite new to my own PA diagnosis but this sounds more B12 related that diabetes related? He currently gets a B12 injection every 12 weeks

Covid testing on high risk persons.
I take a plethora of drugs including Statins, bp control, metformin. I have type 2 diabetes, a pacemaker fitted and have had sepsis 3 times in the last 24 months. Have ANY tests been done on the Covid 19 vaccine on people with similar conditions, and what was the outcome? To have the jab, or to brave

After 5 years, my new pharmacist tells me that the Sinemet I take for my Parkinson's, destroys the effectiveness of my Metformin that I take for my type 2 diabetes (A1C 7.7) and now they want to double my Sinemet to work on my right hand tremor that is the only visible vestige of the Parkinson's. I

Diabetic medication a catalyst to phimosis and balanitis problems?
I have noticed that a trend in phimosis and balanitis cases are that men are diabetic. I believe it has played a major role in my phimosis. My girlfriend was telling me about a previous boyfriend's issue with phimosis. He was taking Invokana and his doctors took him off of it. Did this medication spur

1 year on... Recurrence of Borderline Transformed Into Low Grade Ovarian Cancer.
Looking back over my posts over the past 10 years wow I do feel lucky to be here. It has been just over a year since my second diagnosis of Low Grade Ovarian Cancer stage 3C. This disease is tricky to treat as its only been since 2004 we have recognised it as being a different sub type of Ovarian Cancer

Can Erleada/Apalutamide and Xtandi/Enzalutimide be used subsequently or is Xtandi ineffective after Erleada stops working?
If someone is castration sensitive and they start/use Erleada until it stops controlling the PSA, is Xtandi usually effective to use following the Erleada, or will Xtandi be ineffective because it works in the same manner as the Erleada? I understand that Erleada is for non-metastatic and Xtandi is

Metformin and Androgen Receptor-Axis-Targeted (ARAT) Agents Induce Two PARP-1-Dependent Cell Death Pathways in Androgen-Sensitive PCa Cells.
New study below [1]. This is a cell study, but it provides a rationale for using Metformin with Abiraterone/Enzalutamide, i.e. androgen receptor-axis-rargeted (ARAT) agents. "The finding that patients with diabetes taking metformin, but not other anti-diabetic drugs, have a decreased risk of dying from
