Heart checks

Following a trip to A &E last September 2020 after speaking to GP., symptoms were breathlessness and general malaise.

I was told possible lung clots from a blood marker, scan was clear. A slight heart murmer was found, I had high blood pressure and was 2 weeks later diagnosed T2 diabetes.

I have had an ultrasound of heart which Cardiologist tells me was normal and he sent me for a nuclear stress test at UCLH 2 days ago. Awaiting results. my cholesterol is fine and I have never been pulled up for high cholesterol. My problem is sugar!!! I have or was experiencing a squeezing/pinching in the chest left side and pain that radiated through my back on left side and shoulder/arm along with numbness on and off through my arms.

Cardiologist has put me on Statins and aspirin regardless just because of my high risk now for HA/stroke and the pain in chest has gone apart from last 2 days since Stress test, and my anxiety of the 'What ifs'. Though not working due to lockdown andwas added to shield list and my job is physical so I'm sure some symptoms will represent.

Blood pressure took nearly a year to control and the metformin has brought my levels down. I also gave up smoking in September after the A & E as it scared me alot how I couldn't breathe.

Staying positive as Heart ultrasound was good so no reason why stress test should be abnormal.

lungs have been checked with respiratory and are normal for my age.
