change in IBS symptoms
Going on a
gluten
free
diet
seemed to help slightly as did a fructan free diet. Also low fodmap. But didn’t stop the diarrhoea completely. Over the last few months I’ve been trying prebiotics and probiotics not helped a great deal either.

I was also anaemic. since been on a
gluten

for the past eight weeks, I feel a lot better. I am happy to cook my own meals as I find eating out confusing.

Thyroid tests
I understand it gives a better chance of testing celiac accurately but I have not actually been on a
gluten
free
diet
strictly speaking, I just stopped bread for a couple of days last week to notice the difference. I had bread yesterday at lunch, and felt not great again this morning.

Headaches - just started a week ago - is it hypo related
I have been very strict up to that point - as I was starting to feel a bit more normal again and was convinced the
gluten
free
diet
was helping. I used to suffer from migraines years ago but when my periods stopped 10 years ago (Im almost 60 now) the migraines ended.

(mostly since may)? On the other hand my Serum Iron and iron binding saturation always run high, and my heamoglobin/HCT is always high so I didnt want to take iron supplements, but I think this now needs to be addressed, what should I do?

Gluten-free diet for picky eaters?
I have celiac disease and my 5 year old was recently diagnosed with it. He also has autism so he's very picky about textures in food and has a limited amount of things that he will eat before his diagnosis. His favorite right now is avocado toast, but he won't eat any gluten-free bread I've found (and

gluten free
I kept reading about gluten free diets helping people on levothyroxine but never stuck to it properly for more than a few days, until now. I have been, to my knowledge, entirely gluten free for 2 full weeks and I just wanted to come here and say that I feel much better ! I have been going to the toilet

Would t3 benefit me? Latest bloods
I’ve just started a
gluten
free
diet
and take iron and folate as both were low. I’ve been taking them for 8 weeks and have just had the levels tested so can share all those results when I have them. I wondered if t3 may help me feel better?

New here....
I began a
gluten
free
diet
this past Saturday. I have been sick since intestinal Covid last November but finally found a great doctor team. While I have been experiencing colitis since that time, I had my first full on flair yesterday and it terrified me. I just thought I had problems.

Winning
I'd nailed that one by strict
gluten
free
diet
. My constipation was helped by gastro number one Consultant who prescribed Laxido daily. I was either constipated or had overflow embarrassing distressing and depressing. Now lovely coeliac Consultant retired so put into new clinic.
