IBS Diarrhoea
I am now on a
gluten
free
diet
as I did a York test and it showed I was allergic to wheat and some meats.. At the moment I eat gluten free cornflakes with oat milk or rice milk and a banana. For lunch I have gluten free rice cakes with some canned tuna in brine.

Gluten ataxia.
For many there is still no medication and only if you don't respond to a
gluten
free
diet
are you offered anything.A
gluten
free
diet
and a healthy eating approach along with regular exercise helps. I also take lots of high dose supplements.

Private Blood Test Results
This no doubt has also been helped by a largely
gluten
free
diet
and taking vitamin supplements as per advice. My TSH became suppressed following new combined therapy but neither endo or my GP at that time, were concerned and monitored for any other signs via T3 and T4.

A
gluten
free
diet
has not helped me and also cut out lactose 6 months after initial diagnosis as was still having such bad stomach symptoms- I’ve had to give up my dental nursing job which I loved 2 years ago as had urgency issues and blood present .

gluten free
I kept reading about gluten free diets helping people on levothyroxine but never stuck to it properly for more than a few days, until now. I have been, to my knowledge, entirely gluten free for 2 full weeks and I just wanted to come here and say that I feel much better ! I have been going to the toilet

Gluten free diet
I notice that a strictly
gluten
free
diet
is often recommended on this forum. What is the reason, and does it apply to both hyper and hypothyroidism?

T3 affects of different manufacturers
I’ve always had higher results than this without symptoms of being over medicated: T3 6 (range 3.1 - 6.8) TSH 0.44 (range 0.27 - 4.2) All other supplements are the same and I have followed a
gluten
free
diet
for about 10 years. many thanks Mary Mary

Hashimoto ?
I was doing
gluten

. Another GP has told me to come off meds. I'm so confused as I'm not sure I had hashimoto in first place.

Advice please 😌
I have tried
gluten
free
diet
/high fermented food diet/ Beef-free diet/dairy free diet > all at the recommendation of the GP. None of it has really worked.

9 years PMR and counting!
The subsequent mucus in the lungs rapidly cleared when I adopted a
gluten
free
diet
and minimal wheat (which always did bind me up!).

Thyroid tests
I understand it gives a better chance of testing celiac accurately but I have not actually been on a
gluten
free
diet
strictly speaking, I just stopped bread for a couple of days last week to notice the difference. I had bread yesterday at lunch, and felt not great again this morning.
