Week two of no alcohol and need to get back on the cod liver oil
It is Saturday evening and I am craving for a drink, but will resist the temptation. Only two weeks left to go. Now a while ago I ran out of cod liver oil capsules and never got round to buying some more, what a fool. I did not realise how much they help me as last weekend I hurt my knee and it is still

i'm struggling with joint pain this week :(
I thought i might have problems with my joints when i began running but i dont want to let it defeat me. I have osteoarthritis in my hip joints and have had problems with my knees for a long time but i love running and if there is anything i can do apart from being thrown codeine by the doctor i'd like

How far Glucosamine is helpful for human beings treating Firbromyalgia/Arthritis?
What is the function of Glucosamine? Glucosamine is a compound came upon clearly within the body, produced from glucose and the amino acid glutamine. Glucosamine is having to produce glycosaminoglycan a particle that is used for formation and repair of cartilage and different frame tissues. As we age

What vitamins and minerals (etc) are best to take - and what dosage?
I already take Magnesium, a multivitamin with probiotic and calcium with Vitamin D (for Osteoporosis) I also take Glucosamine for creaky knees! I'm thinking of trying a Vitamin B boost - apparently my maternal grandmother suffered crippling headaches (probably migraine) and used to swear by her "Yeasties

Just a hello, and an update
It's been a while since I actually posted/commented on here, although I have been passing through (when I get 5 minutes) to see how everyone is. Just really giving a quick update on how things are going here, and hopefully wafting a few positive vibes in the direction of those who need them. The

WG doesn't always wreck your life
I posted on this site that I'm diagnosed WG but not taking meds and was shocked to be told by people on here that I am wrong and should take them - based on no medical training or knowledge of my case. Let's be clear, the meds cause horrific side effects, and are not a magic cure. So thanks for the lecturing

Glucosamine query
I have painful areas all over my body and also suffer from lower back pain. I have been to physio but she has had to semi discharge me as I am too sensitive to touch for her to treat me other than exercises that I do at home. I went back to my GP as suggested and I queried Fibromyalgia, but he dismissed

VETS
Was listening to one of our local vets on the radio. They are very aware of pain and management. They appreciate trigger pain and prescribe all sorts of treatmets for the animal, including hydrotherapy. They also give glucosamine for joint pain, and because they can see an improvement in an animal, it

Have got tendonitis in my left ankle where the muscle enlarged which I have never had before and now its seems a muscle in the back of my neck. has enlarged, was wondering whether this is all my fibro as I usually
