Yes, all being well, Slinky will be coming out of hospital this afternoon. Will just take a time to get discharged, but she's very chipper and wound drying nicely, chest x-ray fine, has been walking around with me, no! not running yet!😁but has good movement...😊 Be good to get her home, as she's in

Tumour found. Looking for stories of hope
About a month ago I started noticing that I was feeling my food travel down to my stomach more than I previously had. I have sarcoidosis so initially put it down to this, but after a fortnight of omeprazole having no effect I was scheduled for a scope which happened on Monday. Nurse who did it found

Grr can't shake this cough!
Now more antibiotics to try and get rid of this cough/chest infection. Now both lungs have 'creps'? No wheeze tho, so apparently no need for more steroids or an increase in seretide. Peak flow still only 65% at best. Also had chest x-ray to see what's going on. Following this, if it continues I'll need

Confusing symptoms.
I'm new here…I was wondering if anyone could help me make sense of some confusing symptoms. I am a 37 year old ex-smoker. I quit smoking 4 years ago when I got pregnant with my first child. I smoked from the age of 17,18. My BMI is normal, I am 5"8 - 140 pounds. Several weeks ago we went on holiday

George
Well George is still really poorly, community nurses have been absolutely fantastic, he is still bubbling on his chest, tablets changed, he was given an injection last night to dry it up, he gets so agitated, the Matron said if he is not better by Monday, he might need to go for a chest X-ray. We had

Current meds are seretide 250, spiriva and zafurlukast. Have had a chest X-ray, that was clear. I have got a referral to a chest specialist but not till

Tough week
Hi ladies, I found myself in hospital from Monday this week, caught a nasty infection, temp was sky high and didn't feel very well at all chest pains to, all very scary, so lots of fluids and antibiotics ploughed into me, doctors couldn't get on top of the infection at first as they weren't sure where

2 in 10 days! - seriously fed up.
I finished prednisolone on Wednesday after an attack on Tuesday last week, and had another attack yesterday morning! I've been back to my GP and am now on fostair and montelukast (I was previously on fostair with salbutamol as and when). Everything hurts, which I'm guessing is muscular aches and pains

The 'fun' continues. We have moved house, it's great, wonderful, couldn't be more chuffed! Prior to moving I was told that my CCG would not provide me with enough Humira to tide me over the period of awaiting an appointment with new rheumy / new application for the drug. Well, this area has notoriously

Diagnosed with copd/ what melds are people on?
What medications people taking for copd. I have had asthma since 2 years of age and abpa for 13 years. Now have something that showed up in chest x-Ray on lower right lung for 3-4 months and have been diagnosed with copd too. Having cat scan tomorrow too. Am wondering what patients are taking for breathing

Possible vasculitis diagnosis looming...
Hi guys! I'm new here, and I just wanted to ask a few questions about diagnosis of vasculitis. Just over a week ago the few little red dots I noticed on my

Cough after cryoablation
I have seen a couple of references in posts on other things to people having a cough after this. I have had a persitent wheezy cough since my cryoablation which my EP insists is nothing to do with the ablation and he tells me to visit the GP. At one stage it was so bad and accompanied by a stabbing pain

Pneumonia or Tumor
Hey this is my first post. I'm writing because I've had to go to an urgent care on the weekend because of course my dr office was closed. The first visit they took a chest x Ray and said I had pneumonia, I saw the X-ray and it showed a grapefruit size mass on my right lung. Went back second time for

Anxiety or something else?
How do I convince myself it's anxiety? I just feel like whenever someone says "it is anxiety I get this too and that" I think "yeah but what if for some reason it's not" I keep thinking its my heart even tho this has been happening for 8 months now so I should be confident it's not coz if it was I'd
