I have had a cough since February. I have seen the gp and all he has given me is antihistamine and says its allergy issues. I ended up
in A&E he other day as could not stop coughing for 4 hours and could not breathe and vomited also. The hospital done chest X-ray which was clear, they also done blood tests which was fine. They have now given me a brown pump for my asthma to add to the blue pump I am using, they also gave me lanzaprazole

New to Montelukast
Has anyone used montelukast? I was diagnosed with asthma nearly 5 years ago and for the main part I'm pretty well controlled though if I get a cold it will always end up in me being on antibiotics .which is usually 3 times a year. I am pretty fit (though overweight) and run several times a week and

Severe attack-anyone taking Zileuton Extended Release?
Hi everyone, I haven't been on in quite a long time. I've had a lot happen since I was last here. I lost two jobs, both related to my health. The first was a hospital job, and I was walking around about 5 hours a day, and on oral prednisone for about 14 months because of a severe asthma attack, and

Hello from a new member in USA
I had a routine chest x-ray a couple of weeks ago before surgery on my spine. The x-ray showed hyperinflation suggesting COPD so I made an appointment for this Friday morning with my GP for a spirometry test. I've really been feeling down about this but reading the posts here has helped, especially

Hi everyone, I don't really have a question. For some unknown reason I feel really down tonight and don't really have anyone to talk to.
I just very suddenly started to feel very down earlier this evening and its getting worse. This is not like me at all. Like anyone else I can get fed up for half an hour and manage to get myself out of it. People come to me to cheer them up and tell me I am a tonic!! I think I feel isolated because

Oh Dear, Oh Dear - Gone and done it now!
This morning I completed W5R2. Bit tiring but not too bad. Then I got a phone call from the doctor with the result of my CT scan. A chest X-ray had shown a small shadow on a lung and I had to have a CT scan to find out exactly what the shadow was. As you can imagine, I've been sh***ing myself waiting
