Achilles reflex
I know that a slow Achilles reflex can be a symptom of hypothyroidism. It’s not something I had ever thought about until I was diagnosed six months ago with a TSH of 42. I’ve since then improved in some ways. Anyway, quite recently I heard about the Achilles reflex and discovered that in my case, the

When is genetic testing done?
Hello, I think my husband would like to do genetic testing and I am curious at what stage this is done? He is in the process of deciding on treatment and hopes to have a decision made within the next 2 weeks. We have talked to the surgeon oncologist already. We are waiting on a PSMA scan on Apr 24 and

Treatment resistance
I have had genetic testing done. I have tried almost 75% of meds listed that are supposed to help but they wear off after a few months. I am feeling hopeless. Anyone have a suggestion for treatment. I am in a coping skills class.

Hi! I was treating my thyroid for years, and in 2020, my endocrinologist assured me that everything was fine. However, she advised me to start planning for a baby before turning 30. Now, at 28 years old, while trying to conceive, I visited an OB-GYN where I did hormone tests. The results revealed

just below normal Vit D symptoms
My husband has been suffering fatigue, low mood, and poor sleep over the last few months. Quite comprehensive blood tests only showed that his D3 level is just insufficient at 49, when acceptable levels should be 50+. Is it possible that his symptoms could be down to his D level? GP recommended he supplements

Blood thinners and ferritin levels
For the last few months, I have been suffering from low ferritin levels and wondering if it could be caused by Edoxaban. I take a course of iron tablets, feel okay for a few weeks and then it starts again. Just wondering if anybody has also experienced this.
