I've been on here before complaining about the same problems which seemed to stem mostly from undertreated hypothyroidism and doctors being too cautious to change my T4 dose. Painful legs at night
My endo put me on 100mcg of Levothyroxine and 10mcg of T3 twice a day, three weeks ago to help me out of hypothyroidism. I'm also on a cocktail of drugs to help with my anxiety and depression, but there have been no changes with these. Over the past five nights I've been kept awake by experiencing

Within range bloods - can someone confirm please?
Hi all, After being diagnosed with atrial fibrillation five years ago and an ambiguous NHS blood test showing possible hypothyroid symptoms I decided, as my diet is mostly plant based, to take a vegan multivitamin/mineral including iodine. I had a private thyroid test done a few months later which

Book on hypothyroidism as I wait for Levo to kick in?
Hi all, and thanks for having me here. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in October and started on 25mg Levo per day. Last week I saw my GP for (I think) an unrelated matter. She looked at my blood results from December (TSH 2.35, down from 4.39 in October, and T4 9.2, up from 7.9 in October) and

Side effects on combination therapy : thyroxine and T3
I have been on combination therapy for about 7 weeks. I have noticed I am quite breathless and this looks like it can be related but unusual. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Another adjustment
Ok, so my table needed to first :-) not sure how to move it down, but please read below... First, thanks for this great community. I have benefited from lots of wisdom and experience over the past three years. Last year my endo freaked when my TSH was low. I attempted to stand up for myself, but

Do you think I need an increase in my T4 dose???
Hi all, I have hashimoto and hypo since many years. I take T4 medication ( 100 mg) every morning. The brand name is Euthyrox ( the version which has mannitol and citric acid instead of lactose). This is my thyroid test results after 14 months of no tests at all due to lack of medical insurance. I was

Doctor says T3 is unnecessary
Iāve got an underactive thyroid and have severe fatigue as well as other symptoms (dry eyes, weight gain, low immune system, eyebrow hair loss). I started levothyroxine about 3 years ago and am currently on 125mcg. Apparently I should have started treatment in 2014 after repeated infections and a

New T3 prescription help please
After 3 years my endo finaly prescribed a trial of T3....but, as some have mentioned on here...it seems like they almost set you up to fail. What I mean by this is that I've been on Levo for 25+ years and the Endo has prescribed 12.5mcg twice daily, making it 25mcg a day !!! which (I may be mistaken)

RLS and changing meds
I have been on roprinerole xl (2mg and 4 mg) and the regular. Mostly I take the regular one because the insurance companies don't like to pay for the extended release. Right now, I cut a 4mg regular into 4 equal parts. I take two parts at night, so that's a 2 mg at bedtime and 1 and 1 earlier during

Advice finding thyroid specialist
Hi, my T4 levels have dropped from 20 to 15 since having an increase in Levothyroxine and feeling unwell with hypothyroid symptoms, it's just dismissed by NHS Endochrinologist & docs. My health and physical ability has diminished since taking Levothyroxine over the past year. So I'm looking for a Private

Hi there - here are my latest bloods - done fasting with no meds and before 9am - last dose of levo 24 hours before - last dose T3 12 hours before I've worked hard at improving vitamins and minerals - still ferritin is a bit low but currently on a dose of iron tabs from GP so may improve by the end
