We gathered on a cold muddy playing field, wearing more layers than I'm used to for running - but I did manage to shed one layer once I warmed up 🏝️ ( kept the woolly hat on though, which only goes on if my ears are in danger of dropping off from frostbite🥶)
It involved lots of silly games to stretch

I get completely numb and bloodless toes on cold days and don’t want to get frostbite If it’s cold. am I doomed to have to join a gym and use a treadmill in the winter?

Being aware of frostbite and my exposed nose and cheeks, I pull my buff back over my face. Of course, by now, it is a frozen block of merino wool. I must've bumped my headphones somehow and my music was gone! Noooooo!
