Is my body killing my embryos?
Hi I am wondering if anyone else has been in my position and may know what might be wrong...i'm so sad and just want to hear from other women who have had simliar experiences. I'm 41... conceived a son through IVF in 2019 (an angel - my mum died of leukaemia in the middle of that cycle - I can't believe

Arthritis, PMR or both.
I’ve been on this journey for nearly 3 years and am down to 1.5mg pred. I still get shoulder pain but it manifests in a different way to when I first got PMR. I had shoulder problems for some years before I got PMR. I found it difficult to tie up my blood parameters, which were fine, with the shoulder

Squinter at 9dp5dt - any hope?!
I’ve been testing since 7dp5dt (which is when I got clear positives previously - although both ended in losses). I’ve had verrrrrry faint lines the past couple of days (the kind of ‘turn it at all angles, shine it in the sun, hold a torch behind it’ kind of line). But today there’s a much clearer

Denosomab and Dental Treatment
I was prescribed Denosumab injections after osteoporosis fractures in my lumbar spine. The first injection was July 2022 and given by a nurse in the Rheumatology department. I was warned at the time that should I need invasive dental treatment (eg: extractions) I would be referred to a hospital. My

Progesterone blood test before FET?
Hi ladies, I had a double FET last week and today is 7DP5DT. I’ve been getting some cramps like my period is due, intermittent most of the day. I’ve got a bad feeling it’s all over as this happened after a previous transfer where I bled before OTD. I remember I had a progesterone serum blood test prior

Referral to Professor Siobhan Quenby for RIF
Hi all, This is my first time posting after joining this community a couple of months ago. I was wondering if anyone had been referred by their GP to the implantation clinic at Coventry Hospital with Professor Siobhan Quenby. If so, how long did the referral take and what sort of tests do they

Has anyone used Pdg tests to prove ovulation?
Hey everyone, Two weeks after my surgical removal of miscarriage I have tested positive on my ovulation sticks. My doctor has said to give it a go if we want to and see if we have any luck naturally before we can start another FET. However as I have PCOS I don’t know if the test is a false positive

Weight loss due to Progynova?
I feel like it never rains but pours atm! I discovered today I have lost 1.5kg in the last month. Obviously will be making an appt with the doctor tomorrow. Weight loss is listed as a side effect of Progynova but just wondering how often it happens and to what degree; gain seems more common. Has anyone

Success stories needed
Hi all! Really needing to hear some success stories 🤞🤞🤞 if anyone is willing to share theirs? We originally got pregnant in 2018 which ended in miscarriage at 12 weeks. We then couldn’t conceive and started IVF in 2021 (COVID held us back). Our first cycle produced 2 embryos. The fresh transfer worked

Ovulation test with overactive bladder
Hey, I am testing for ovulation in preparation for a natural FET cycle. I have a very overactive/painful bladder and am finding it difficult to retain my urine for more than 3 hours before testing. It's also affecting my sleep as each time I get up in the night to pee I am checking the time to make sure

2 week wait…
Hi lovelies, I’ve just had my FET today and looking to test on the 18th . I’ve also been signed off from work for 2 weeks which I didn’t know I would need this time round but my gynaecologist advised me that I can when the procedure was done.. so brilliant as work was getting a bit stressful once this

FET tomorrow 😬
I have my FET tomorrow. Our first fresh cycle ended up with a BFN and we managed to have 2 blastocyst which was frozen. I’m now dreading the update call tommorow, we will find out how the thaw process went. This journey is so heartbreaking, wishing you all the best..

Going higher than original 15mg to control a flare?
I’ve had a month of what I first thought was a PMR flare. When going back up to my original post-diagnosis dose of 15mg for ten days didn’t touch my buttock pain, I decided it probably wasn’t a flare after all. I’ve now been assessed by a PT who has ruled out piriformis syndrome and most other musculoskeletal

thrush ahead of FET
Hi there. I’ve been on a course of 2 strong types of antibiotics due to an infection caused by an ectopic pregnancy. It has seemingly caused me to get thrush (must be connected as haven’t had thrush for about 20 years). I’m likely to be having my next FET in approximately 3 weeks so is taking an over

7dp5dt BFN… am I out?
I know I shouldn’t have tested, OTD is Saturday but was up early and thought I’ll check. Anyway it was a negative. Not sure what brand it was just a strip test from the clinic. F Feeling deflated. Another failed FET. Am I out? Does anyone have any positive stories of a BFN at this stage then a positive
