FET and obesity
Hi we had 1 embryo to freeze and paid for 2 years storage and now that 2 years is due to end! I’ve gained a lot of weight in the 2 years since having our baby girl and now classed as obese. I just wondered if anyone else who’s obese had success with a FET? Hubby worries it won’t be successful due to

Overthinking our failed cycle
we had our 8th transfer on 4th aug. I know it hasn't worked. it was a DE FET and due to my history I'm on high dose prednisolone, cyclogest, lubion, clexane and oestrogen. My menopausal symptoms have already started 6d ays post transfer and I'd been having bloods every hrs 48since transfer to monitor

symptoms following Frozen Embryo Transfer
hi all, I had my frozen embryo transfer last Thursday (11th August). What have been everyone’s symptoms following their frozen transfer? I’ve been feeling so nauseous and a bit dizzy the last day or two and of course I’m now symptom watching and wondering if this is a good sign? LOL

cyclogest at wrong time 2WW
Had frozen transfer Thursday & my 2WW paranoia is starting to creep in . I’ve no symptoms at all, nothing. Only ever had fresh so I’m not sure if frozen is different. This was a natural FET so there’s been no build up of meds . Re: Progesterone …I’m on prontogest every second day and 2 cyclogest daily

Inflammation & microbiome in IvF
Hi all I’m currently on a treatment break whilst I spend some time working with a couple of holistic therapists - mainly acupuncture & osteopathy - in an attempt to naturally bring down inflammation in my body as well as get my microbiomes (both gut & vaginal) into as healthy a place as possible. Whilst

Frozen transfer supplements advice
I feel like I should know this by now with the length of time I've been going through treatment, but I've only ever had one FET. And I can't recall what supplements to take. So a few questions if anyone can help: 1) What supplements did others take? 2) If we started supplements and then ended

Embryo not fully re expanded
I had my fet today and they said the embryo hadn’t fully re expanded before the transfer which happened last time as well so feeling a bit disheartened. It was out last embryo and not good quality so feeling pretty negative. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Implantation failed FET 2nd round IVF with NHS
Hi all, today I tested BFN and that’s my 2nd round FET out. I’m 36, DH 40. We are generally healthy, TTC for a long time so got referred to NHS for ICSI because of low sperm mobility. We are lucky to get 3 rounds under NHF funding so we stopped looking for private clinics but things get frustrated

Hi ladies 💕 I’m about to start my 3rd IVF cycle. My Fallopian tubes have blockages and possibly also a question mark over egg quality but husband has been told his sperm are top notch 🙄 The first cycle I used Ovaleap and Ganirelix but none of our 5 fertilised eggs developed normally and we weren’t

Post microTESE wait
Hi everyone, I’m about to join you all on this rollercoaster (or perhaps I already have) - my husband and I are pursuing fertility treatment where we live in France and are at the point where he has had a microTESE for sperm extraction. We managed to get 6 straws which I am pleased with considering

double or single transfer - help!
I’m about to do my 6th transfer and have been recommended a double transfer. I’m 38 five failed transfers, one was a miscarriage. Each time I had a single embryo transfer, other than my 4th which was a double. This will be my first frozen transfer, all previous were fresh. what’s everyone’s thoughts

Fretting about using frozen embryo - worried history will repeat
Hi all This time last year I had a FET and carried my baby for 12 weeks before realising there was a problem. It was only at the NHS 12 week scan that we discovered significant issues existed, the tests that followed showed that our baby had Trisomy 18 Edwards Syndrome and we took the decision

*sensitive* 7 week scan measuring small
Hi ladies, just been for my 7 week scan. It was measuring behind at 5+6 and they couldn't find a heartbeat. They told me there is small chance that it is just a slow developer but that I should prepare myself that it is probably a miscarriage. I'm heartbroken. This was my first FET and I felt so lucky

Day 2 embryo transfer done , 2 week wait begins
Frozen transfer complete. Day 2 embryo. I asked what grade but just got a reply saying one was a bit slower than they expected and one was a bit faster? No idea what that means, probably not great but I didn’t push for anymore info. They are all I have left so I didnt really have much of an option.

When to expect period after FET?
hi everyone, I’m so confused where I am in my cycle. I had a period after starting the Buserelin for my FET then did all the meds etc for a FET. We unfortunately had a failed thaw so cycle was cancelled. Stopped progesterone and had a period a few days later. Do I count this as my period? As the nurse

Coping strategies needed!
Yesterday I had my 8th embryo transfer. we we're lucky enough to conceive with our first DE ICSI cycle in 2016, since then we've had 7FET with DE. We needed to find a new donor after the 2nd fet. There has been a miscarriage and biochemical pregnancies with the last three goes . I'm not sure what I'm
