OHSS, how long after egg collection?
Hi, First round of IVF and had eggs collected yesterday. I have all the risk factors for OHSS, but we are mitigating as much as possible (gnrh agonist trigger, freezing eggs, Cabergoline, clexane and gnrh antagonist for the next few days). For those who have had OHSS, how long after the collection did

diet info please
avoided prem as long haul flights pending. Lots of increasing pain so was almost desperate to start meds when home! now day 4 on 15mg and noticeable difference. Saw GP yesterday, thinks a ( diagnosed) frozen shoulder may not be helped by Prem. See comments about low carb diet. Any advice please

Don’t want to test tomorrow
urgh so this is our last try for a sibling (lucky to have daughter from 4th round of ICSI in 2020). We’ve been through just about every scenario with outcomes… 2 BFN, 1 MMC, 1 live birth, 1 chemical. We had 2 5 day morulas transferred last Monday and were told our chances of implantation were low so

Switch of medication
I’m starting my third round of IVF next Monday & this time they have changed my meds from Buserelin & Menopur to Syneral & Meriofert. Just wondering if anyone else has made this switch & what results they saw? Thanks.

is a return of arm shoulder pain on one side unusual.
The initial euphoria after three days of 15mgm prednisolone when the pain in both upper arms and thighs was relieved, I have found over the last week or so that the pain has gradually returned in my upper left arm. As a newbie I’m not sure if this one sided response is normal. It is the same pain as

PMR with shoulder and buttock pain
I was diagnosed with PMR in July 2022 a week after having Covid. My pain symptoms have been bi lateral buttock pain and shoulder pain . I never really experienced the great relief that many feel when starting pred. despite going upto 25mg. I have reduced gradually over the time but had a few flares

Leakage during stims injection - help?
Hi folks, has anyone here got any experience with Bemfola? I'm currently on day 2 of stims so I've just taken my second dose. As I'm in 225 IU I am doing two jabs- a 150 and a 75 pen. The 75 pen is going in with no incident, but despite using the same technique for the 150 pen I noticed some leakage

Severe Dilated Cardiomyopathy with heart failure - and now AF - anyone else out there like me?
I have severe dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure but had been doing well despite the inner chaos. I played tennis 5 times a week, kicked a football with my children, took long walks, and was able to run up the stairs to my flat. After the metapneumovirus triggered AF 6 weeks ago I stopped being

Prepping for Round 2
Hello ladies! I’m planning to start a second IVF cycle in January (when I’ll turn age 40!) and feeling hopeful. First cycle was BFN with short protocol so we are trying long protocol this time with Nafarelin (Synarel) nasal spray and Menopur. Has anyone had luck with this combo? Also we had the option

shoulder pain Ongoing
Have been struggling with shoulder pain for 4 days and at my wits end !! Reading about it and it appears to be the acromioclavicular joint in the back of my shoulder this also is causing pain in the side of my neck, none of my pain relief is helping and love tried heat pads and recently bought a shoulder

I have heart failure. Approx 38% ejection fraction. I'm on Entresto and 6 other tablets including Dapagliflozin, eplerenone , beta blocker, aspirin, and a statin.Tested for new drug to enter trial, but my BNP was too low (44). Feel very fatigued at times but try and walk or do some sort of exercise

Delayed period after cancelled FET
Hi everyone Just looking for some advise or lived experiences! I started progynova and after 5 days the dose was upped, then on 17th November I stopped altogether as my cycle was cancelled (they'd measured my lining wrong due to some adenomyosis) I'm now on day 37 of my cycle! I've never had a cycle

Frozen shoulder?
Since getting back from Cyprus where I saw a Rheumatologist but wasn't there long enough to get to the bottom of my symptoms, I've seen my GP who was appalled I'd been prescribed Pred (too young and no inflammation markers - actually I'm 56 and in Cyprus my ESR and CRP were considered raised though clearly

Not been here for a while but I need help....
I've been running for quite a while after completing the C25K course. I've suffered many injuries which are so frustrating but I've tried to be sensible and thankfully I've always recovered. I'm a casual runner, not really interested in races or PB,s but run for weight control and because I enjoy it.

smear test during stims
I asked my doctors surgery if I could have my smear test a month before it was due as I was going to start my second round of ivf. I was told no & that I had to wait for my letter & that there was a bit of a back log so I may need to wait. I finally received my letter today which is the first day of

Long protocol side effects
Hi all, about to start on 4th ICSI round, new clinic. I did get quite a lot of side effects on short protocol with menopur, manageable but difficult due to underlying health issues and demanding job. I am going to be down regged with buserelin, then stimmed with Meriofert and gonal f. What side effects
