will you be the same again
You may be the same again. You will recover but you will always some type of setback and post PTSD. Hopefully you don’t not everyone does. Lots of luck to you.

Provigil (Modafinil) for fatigue 'n stuff
Saw my Neurologist yesterday for my 6 month regular visit. He asked how I was doing. I told him good in that I intermittently get my sense of smell back, but bad because I get fatigued very easily, despite the crazy amount of exercise I do. Without hesitation, he offered to have me try Provigil. I had

my mind is going in overdrive with worry and anxiety. I’ve told someone about a couple of my anxiety triggers that I’ve never told anyone before. The thing is they’re so pathetic and small that I feel so ashamed and embarrassed and wished I’d never let the cat out of the bag so to speak. I was under

ADAA blog: 6 Ways to Tackle BFRBs Outside Your Home
Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) include things like skin picking (excoriation disorder), hair pulling (trichotillomania), nail biting/picking, cheek chewing and more. BFRBs can often make us feel like we have no control over our behaviors and that we’re at the mercy of an endless cycle. We

Here we go again!
Well I went off my meds in late July. I have done well and now things are acting up again. Going to start Trintellex tonight. I was on mirtazapine but was starting to gain weight. Part of my anxiety is starting up new medication as well. Ugh how I do not like this at all!

Higgyandpiggy
Hi, I have had a TKR to both in the last 2 years. A friend lent me a cuff called a Cryocuff which compresses and cools the knee. It really helped. They are expensive to buy but they canbe hired. I was given crutches with special handles, designed for arthritic hands and they helped too. Everything

UPSET WITH MYSELF
I wanted to go to a Small Group at my church tonight, as time got near, I had a meltdown and didn’t make it out the door. I just don’t know what I am going to do about this agoraphobia! It’s so frustrating! I have been watching my church on-line for months now because I can’t seem to be able to face

Total knee replacement
19 days post op - been very tough especially when COVID thrown into the mix! My muscle tone wasn’t great pre-op but is now nonexistent. Is it possible to build muscle tone with PMR? Without PMR it’s possible to build good muscle tone with regular exercises but no matter how frequently I do my post op

I'm stuck
Depression isn't like people think. It's not sadness. It's a weight. I don't feel like doing anything except eating and playing video games. I know exercise would help. But I can't get myself to do it. I know talking to loved ones would help. But I can't figure out how to make a call. I manage

HRT / zolodex / hormone treatment help
Hi all. I posted recently about my concerns regarding zolodex etc. I think my only next steps is a complete hysterectomy due to my issues. HOWEVER. That being said, everyone seems to manage better withHRT and I'm looking to speak with people who have never been able to tolerate any form of hormone treatment

Lining too thin?
Hello! I posted last week about messing up my progynova dosage. I had my scan yesterday and my lining was measured at 7.8 mm and the nurse said everything looked okay and transfer is booked for next Thursday. However, when looking online, a lot of sites suggest optimal thickness should be 8.5+and I’m

Apixapan
I have received a letter today from my Haemotology Consultant regarding various issues. He has stated that I should stop my Tinzaparin blood thinner and switch to either Rivaroxaban 20mg daily or Apixaban 5mg twice daily. I have seen in a past post here that Rivaroxaban was listed as one of the blood

Morning Fam, Just curious, anyone out there been diagnosed with sleep apnea due to their MS? I have an appointment with a pulminologist/sleep doc today to discuss sleep issues and was just curious how frequent, if at all, this is. Thanks
