nausea, churning and fed up
I’ve tried all the usual -
fodmap
, Buscopan, exercise, water. Nothing is working. I’m quite worried about something (more than usual lol) at the moment so not sure whether that’s triggering it. The symptoms are adding to my worry as usual

The low
fodmap
diet has really helped my IBS symptoms, and I know fermented foods make me much worse so I totally avoid them, particularly as I’ve been treated for SIBO in the past, but I find they crop up everywhere without you realising it.

Struggling with loo frequency
Been on meds, tried
Fodmap
- this helped abit but then found it hard reintroducing foods. On meds still for colitis, started using peppermint oil & tea. Started
Fodmap
again 2 weeks ago, still going to the loo frequently! Not sure what else to do!

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
I tried the
FODMAP
, IC and anti-inflammatory diet and began taking vitamins. Nothing helped, and I got worse month by month. Then in 2021, a BSGE specialist gynaecologist advised that I start Dienogest with Cerelle in combination. The benefit was that the Dienogest did stop my periods.

Lost, Worried, Scared. (35yo M)
In an effort to combat the pain, I researched IBS and I've been eating only low
FODMAP
foods and drinking water - no alcohol or caffeine or fizzy pop (not that I drank a lot of these before). I don't smoke. I've been on
FODMAP
for around a week, eating less, eating healthy and getting exercise.

Anyone else have these symptoms as a result of endometriosis?
I’ve tried the low
fodmap
diet but seems to have very little effect when things are flaring up so that’s what led me to believe this could all be endo related.

How best to take Colestyramine (Cholestyramine) please?
In that case it was 5 years of upset, and only sorted when I did the
FODMAP
diet) One strange feature (as best I understand) is that bile returns from your gut back to the liver via the bloodstream.

Been on the
fodmap
diet twice which did no good for me whatsoever. I have felt ashamed and humiliated due accidents in public places and afraid to go out. Yesterday I got a text from my GP stating that I had h pilora and there was medication waiting for me at the chemist.

ADVICE ??
I’ve tried the low
Fodmap
diet, which I did struggle with but that didn’t work. I found some serious triggers, but also nearly everything gave me issues, low
fodmap
or not. Since then my symptoms are worse and now everything is giving me symptoms, all day every day.

Strange IBS symptom?
I am trying the low
FODMAP
diet but I’m not sure it’s making any difference. I have a very odd symptom which I would like to ask if anyone else has or you have come across.

Chronic Belly Bloating on Hydrea
I have tried many 'remedies' e.g. a daily prebiotic (inulin powder), a probiotic, a low
Fodmap
/chemo belly plan and a brisk daily walk for 30 mins. I'm trying to pluck some courage to bring this up once more with the haematologist (in mid October).

People of HU - Living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome
I also found I could eat some high
FODMAP
foods with no problems, yet some foods on the low
FODMAP
list upset me. So, I tailored my diet to reduce symptoms. Later that year I also had a sensation of blocked ears, dizzy spells, and terrible exhaustion that came and went.
