Low fodmap recipes
Hi, can anyone please recommend a tried and tested gluten free and diary free recipe book please? At the moment, I am doing 3 weeks of elimination diet under the guidance of my nutritionist and I am struggling with eating the same kind of food!

Low fodmap diet - ap? Pain came back
I probably don't understand the low
fodmap
diet well enough yet or how it affects endo. Has anyone used an ap to track the diet and found it helpful?

Disappointing GP
On all of your brilliant advice I downloaded a
FODMAP
app and have been looking at what might worry my poor tum. Despite a week of fish and chips, pub dinners and disrupted mealtimes (and the fear of ‘oh my god what if i need a poo at the beach???’) I’ve been fine until 2 days after i got home.

Diligence
Be diligent with the
FODMAP
diet. Your name beet root. I hope your not eating beets.
FODMAP
no no. I lay on my left side to help pass gas. I really feel for you. Hope you feel better soon.

FODMAP Diet - Yes or No? I Want Your Opinions
My question to everyone is, how has, if applicable, a low
FODMAP
diet helped? Did you find that reintroducing foods made your IBS worse? Wondering whether to give it a go

What to do next
I am back to trying the
FODMAP
diet again but that is not working for me. For someone that used to love cooking and food I now mainly live on cereal. I just don't know what to do next. I am struggling to accept it and it is ruining my daily life.

Low Fodmap Diet Help
Hi everyone, I have been advised to try the above diet but can’t actually find anything specific to follow, the doctor just sent me a link to the NHS website. I know I must sound stupid, but is it a case of just cutting things out etc? Any help would be great 😊

Private clinical nutritionist worth it?
The offer included a personal meal plan for full
FODMAP
elimination and re-introduction over a 3-6 month period. They also claim to have a guarantee that states I'll get my money back if my symptoms don't get better.

Seeking mast cell disorder diagnosis
If I deviate from my very strict low-
FODMAP
, low-fibre, yeast free, then I get diarrhea and extreme fatigue symptoms. I get lightheaded on standing and have cold feet (both checked by GP with no standard adverse indications).

I am celiac so obviously gluten free a dietician put me lactose free and follow the
fodmap
for fruit and veg, which has helped but still have awful days which stop me making any plans and IF I go out am anxious all the time. Force myself to go out for my family's sake.

Test Result Comments Welcomed Pre Endo Appt
My diet is restricted (Low
FODMAP
AIP) following working with a nutritionist in 2019 (stopped 2020). I could do with reviewing this, but I think I’m very lucky symptoms wise, but am on a long waiting list to see if I have Sleep Aponea which can be common with Hashi’s.

Getting to grips and getting out with Bowel and bladder issues!
But following a
FODMAP
diet in early 2019 really helped my bloating and wind. Since then I try to be gluten free as it helps. I take loperamide morning and night and extra if I'm eating out. I never go anywhere without a change of clothes and I wear protective pads and pants all the time I'm out.

Zoe - Personalized Food Mapping App
The Liver Diet, The Atkins, The Low Carb high Fat, The
FODMAP
?? Do any of them work? This question has bugged me for the last 40 years so I bit the bullet and signed up to the Zoe App and testing regime and although I am still waiting for results, quite interesting what I have already learned.

PHGG (Partially Hydrogenated Guar Gum) low FODMAP fibre for IBS
It's a low
Fodmap
soluble fibre supplement suitable for regulating IBS-C & IBS-D. It's also a prebiotic so helps promote good bacteria in a low
fodmap
way. I have been trying it as an option to Fybogel (which seems to increase bloating).

Thoughts - fatigue, slow recovery from illness, IBS links?
I'm on a modified
FODMAP
diet, everything cooked from scratch and I take supplements, including vit D. As long as im not actually ill I exercise regularly and get plenty fresh air. I also get between 7 and 9 hours sleep each night and follow good sleep hygiene practices.

What is everyone's experience after surgery been like? what next?
I have requested a dietitian referral to try
fodmap
diet myself from the new GP and they gave me that, but the dietitian is not experienced in endo so very limited support (better than none!).
