Missed period on copper coil?

Is this a thing I'm 5 days late now, I had what u thought was a period right after having my iud fitted on 9th June where u bled for 7 days My cycle is usually 26 days long. I'm now worried i could be pregnant again, I have taken a test and it is negative but why is My period a no show?

Because the bleed you had may have been coil induced not a real period. Are your coil threads palpable ? Did you abstain from sex for 7 days before coil fitting ? If so, I would count from yur last real period as to when the next one should arrive.

Yes I can fee the threads I did not abstain but was on the pill until it was fitted. If I go from my last real period I've missed 3

If you were on the pill , you could be having post pill amenhorrea. What about your periods before you ever took the pill, what were they like ?

I only took the pill for 2 weeks waiting for my iud appointment from the first day of my last period. This was when I was 9 weeks post partum we did not have sex before I started the pill. My cycle is 26 days
