Trying to figure this out.
I was placed on a medication ( diltiazem) for atrial fibrillation) . It turns out it inhibits steroid clearance from the body. I am also on Breo ( fluticasone (steroid ) for asthma. I was off Breo for awhile and restarted( we thought it may have triggered AF) but it didn’t. Since I am in the Breo I feel

Everything taste awful - like vinegar!
I was prescribed 6 drugs in March following a silent heart attack. They were the usual - Aspirin, Clopidogrel, Ramipril, Atovastatin, Bisoprolol, and Lansoprazole. Five weeks ago food and drink began to taste awful - sour or vinegarish. I can't bear to eat any dairy, fruit or meat. I can eat vegetables

Nasal Polyps
I had surgery to remove nasal polyps about 7 years ago and afterwards was told to use a nasal spray Fluticasone to help me from having anymore. So far so good but lately my pharmacy has had a problem of obtaining Fluticasone therefore my GP has suggested Beclomethasone instead. I have used this spray

New inhaler
After my previous post regarding possible chest infection and chest pains, I have seen the asthma nurse. There's apparently no sign of infection, so she thinks the pain is down to the asthma flare up. I'm being trialled on Symbicort MART rather than the fluticasone and salbutamol I'm currently using.

Anyone else have Eosinophilic Asthma with chronic rhinosinusitis?
Shortly after my 5th stomach operation (4 failed for acid reflux) I was told I had Bronchiectasis along with mild asthma this was after being taken to hospital as could not breathe and blue ventolin did not work. This diagnosis eventually changed to Eosinophilic Asthma under my Respiratory Dept

Antihistamines and tinnitus
I have had right sided tinnitus for over 4 months. I have seen ENT, audiology , MRI etc. There are no reasons found for the tinnitus. I am partially habituated but it can lead to loss of sleep at night. However, I get pollen allergies at about this time of year and start taking antihistamine - ceterizine

5 Year old with asthma
Hello all. My son is 5 years old (6 in February) and was diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago. He was a very normal healthy baby boy. When he was age 2 he started getting sick literally every single day after he ate any type of food. For a year they gave him steroids and he gained a lot of weight. At age

Sinutab and Fluticasone?
I'm new here and not sure how any of this works so apologies if I'm not posting this in the right place. Does anyone know if you can take Sinutab and Fluticasone at the same time? Fluticasone was working for me but in the last week my head pressure has returned. Normally I would just pop some Sinutab

Was on top medium dose of ICS Seretide for years (till recently started tapering off due to adrenal insufficiency). 500 Fluticasone (equivalent 1000 Fostair beclamethasone ) per day Is that MART? Should I have been in a Covid group eg 6? Also have adrenal insufficiency and hypothyroid Feel like I was

Not that serious in the scheme of things!
I wonder if the inflamed looking rash at the corners of my mouth and at the side of my nose are PMR or pred related by any chance? I have had it for about the same period as my PMR diagnosis which is 2 years. Various GPS have not made such connections. Rosacea was ruled out. They prescribed Daktatort

Is it possible that the rash around the corners of my mouth and nose is connected to PMR? I’ve had it for about 2 years - approximately the same period as PMR, but the various GPs I’ve complained to have not made the association. Rosacea was ruled out. But they have prescribed Daktacort ( for possible
