Anyone else have Eosinophilic Asthma with chronic rhinosinusitis?

Shortly after my 5th stomach operation (4 failed for acid reflux) I was told I had Bronchiectasis along with mild asthma this was after being taken to hospital as could not breathe and blue ventolin did not work. This diagnosis eventually changed to Eosinophilic Asthma under my Respiratory Dept. at hospital, which, when read about, states '5 percent of all adults with asthma have EA' so pretty rare. Would be interested to hear from others, as have had this diagnosis since 2014, I take 2 inhalers daily 2 puffs of cartridge Spriva Respimat and 1 of powder Fluticasone. I have not had any admissions since and can walk my dog easily, but my polyps in nose need an operation.

Not sure how much mucus is from nose or chest, so would like to hear of any similar persons with this please?

Thanks for reply, I did try montelukast but they did not help, I was told as polyps are part of EA, just last year, that I could have a 4hr operation to help remove polyps. But a week later was diagnosed with heart failure and leaky aorta valve, which caused the big heart failure it seems, that I could not now have that op'. I read somewhere on here that coughing a lot (which I used to do severely) is not good for heart, though it is more probab le to be be genetic, main thing is at least discovered and being monitored. By the way have seen top valve man in Southampton and he said if it stays the same I can have operation....we will see.

Many thanks for reply, no idea of level but called severe asthma, I know it is too many white blood cells after looking for information but have not had a blood test for this for a while, as thankfully managing on that front at least, though recently also diagnosed with heart failure and leaky aorta valve, which caused the big heart failure it seems. I read somewhere on here that coughing a lot (which I used to do severely) is not good for heart, though it may well be genetic, main thing is at least discovered and being monitored.

I was recently prescribed a nasal spray as I knew that a lot of my mucus was due to post nasal drip. I occasionally still have "waterfalls" from my nose when I first stand up in the morning.

Thanks for advice but seems polyps that go with EA are the problem and possibly can be operated on. Saying that I also have a nasal spray and fluctisone drops as well but this has been ongoing over 8yrs now.
