I have a child who's just started fluticasone furoate nasal spray and has dark circles under her eyes. Could this be related?

It isn't a listed side effect that I can see. If your child is missing sleep because of a blocked nose then that may be the cause of the dark circles. Nasal spray technique is difficult and my GP had to show me (pre-youtube days) as I was spraying the med and instantly swallowing it rather than allowing it to soak in the nasal cavity.

This is one of the better guides I found; youtu.be/LOhmsn4gQMM

Thank you Poobah. That was very informative. I have been doing it wrong for decades!😁😁

I had a GP who really knew his stuff when it came to using meds properly. Now we have YouTube which is good, with caution. I'm just glad I've never had to use steroid soaks rather than sprays! Now I rarely need my steroid nasal spray as I avoid omega 6 and salicylates.

Have you considered using a Sterimar spray instead?Reason I ask is that an ENT consultant told me that they are counter productive and he recommended I’d be better using the sterimar instead.
