Covid vaccine
I am 64 but as an AF patient I am always offered the
flu
jab. Does this mean that I will be included in the vulnerable under 65 group when it comes to the covid vaccine or will I have to wait till the general 60-65 group are done Does anyone know the answer to this? A shot in the dark I know!

New therapy for flu may help in fight against COVID-19.
In an average year, more than 2 million people in the United States are hospitalized with the
flu
, and 30,000 to 80,000 of them die from the
flu
or related complications. The Purdue team’s work is detailed in Nature Communications and uses a targeted therapy approach against the virus infections.

Ataxia & flu jab entitlement
I’m just wondering if any of you ataxia sufferers receive the free
flu
jab from your local health centre & are you on the list at your GP centre? I don’t appear to be on it at my health centre, so was just wondering if I should be? Many thanks in advance.

Coronavirus vaccine FAQs
Can I get it at the same time as my
flu
jab? The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is recommended to be given at least two weeks apart from your
flu
jab.

Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine: What to Know If You’re Immunocompromised
The
flu
and polio shots, as well as the rabies vaccine, are inactivated. These kinds of vaccines offer less protection (thus requiring boosters), and are therefore thought to be safer for people who are immunocompromised.

Recurring Shingles
Looking back through my diary the shingles errupted a few weeks after having the
flu
vaccination or common infection such as UTI’s. I am currently experiencing my 5th bout within 2 years having had my recent
flu
vaccination.

The horrible daily nausea and
flu
symptoms are back. The debilitating fatigue. My whole body aches. Sharp pains in my head and pain in my chest and upper back. Spent some time in hospital last week which caused a lot of stress which I think has brought on these symptoms.

Flu jab and Covid vaccine
I'm due to have my
flu
jab (delayed as I needed a latex free jab ) on Friday and wonder whether I should cancel as I'm over 80 and therefore as far as I can understand the proposed rollout of the Covid vaccine here in the UK, I could get it in the next couple of weeks.

Flu Jab UPDATE
Thanks for such a wonderful response to my post 2 days ago. I did pursue the matter, as lots of you suggested, and after lots of further explanations I have been given a date for a jab on 4th Dec. Thank you for all your responses, you gave me confidence, Alyson (Muffin)

Before I read the article about this drug, I'd read an article in which the CEO of Moderna said this virus will continue to mutate forever and like the
flu
, a shot will be needed every year. But if there are other treatments, that's even better.
