Hi everyone,

Happy 2021 to us all.

So I thought it was time to post as I’ve been actively watching and reading since November.

I signed up to jog 50 miles in November for a charity a friend was doing and we completed, she told me about this group. When that was completed I went and signed up for a 10km due on the 23rd but not sure it will go ahead. So I’ve signed up for another charity to run 50 miles this month.

I’d already started a 7 week plan before my friend told me about the plan recommended on here.

All was going well but I had a cold and the flu jab so had 10 days off and my first one back was just suppose to be one circuit but I got the bug and kept going and ran my first hour. When I got back home and checked I wished I’d kept going to reach the full 10km but I’m not due to do that yet on my plan !!!!

I’ve loved reading everyone else’s experiences and it helps motivate and encourage me as I’m a newbie to this. I’ve done two running events but never called myself a runner. I think I can now ?!

Hello and you are welcome. Wow, super running and great pace. Yes you were very close to 10K, you'll get there no problem. You should look at pinned posts and post on January 2021 Graduation Badges, you are due a 60 minute Graduation Badge. Very well done again. Great to have you here.
