Good Evening all, hoping everyone is ok.
I’m just wondering if any of you ataxia sufferers receive the free flu jab from your local health centre & are you on the list at your GP centre?
I don’t appear to be on it at my health centre, so was just wondering if I should be?
Many thanks in advance.

Yes, I've been offered one. But I don't fancy going in to get one!

No I’m not over keen, just wondered if my name should be down as classed as vulnerable aren’t we?

Yes, I have had the flu jab, have one every year, but I am over 65. However all 50 to 64 years are now being offered at my local surgery. I would not go without getting g one.

Many thanks to you all, I will enquire as to why I’m not on the ‘vulnerable list’

My sister and I who both have cerebellum ataxia are entitled to free flu jab which we have had in the past before covid 19 was ever mentioned

Yes, I've had the flu' jab. I'm seventy seven years of age and whether or not that fact is important in qualifying me for the injection I don't know.
