I started with a cut on my right hand which ended an operation and the wound was never healed until RA set in and I started the methotrexate. I was not sure when it healed as the pain from RA was so intense that I could no longer feel the pain on the wound anymore.

Yes looking back I think many of us can find things that were early indications of immune system problems before our diagnoses. I hope your RA is well controlled now.

Dear Lolabridge, yes, I am already in remission since Nov 2015, which was after a year and a half treatment. I think I was lucky that RA hit me hard, though my blood results were good but I had all the RA symptoms hence my rheumy started the treatment immediately. I was almost could not walk properly during my very first appointment.
