I just had an attack which started like the worst
flu
ever and burning back pain and headache and stiff neck then all the unpleasant Neuro symptoms followed, unable to walk some days, spasms, Ms hug round my ribs, nausea and an awful feeling in my spine in a morning.

Covid vaccine news
I was never vaxxed and had Covid several months ago, it wasn't so bad - similar to
flu
I guess, although everyone suffers from infections to different degrees.

Another covid question Re blood clotting/high risk
At the moment, it just feels like
flu
with a bad chest (not terrible, just raspy and sore). I'm 4 vaccinated so hopefully it doesn't get wildly worse. But I'm only on day 2 and obviously panicking about the risks of it getting severe.

hashimotos and the immune system
Please forgive my ignorance, but as someone with hashimotos and currently fighting the
flu
,I was wondering if my body is slower to recover than someone without hashimotos? I've been ill for weeks now and my energy doesn't seem to be returning.

Pneumonia Recovery
My dad is currently in ICU with pneumonia (caused by triple whammy of
flu
, Strep A and staph) - been there 6 weeks, 4 of them on a ventilator/trachy. Was previously fit and healthy - no underlying conditions or hospital admissions so the severity was a total shock for us all.

Sudden onset poorly controlled asthma
It all started when I got bad cold /
flu
like bug in November, it wasn’t as bad as when I got
Flu
B a few years ago but I had a temperature, sore throat etc. I developed a cough and shortness of breath where I would struggle to speak in full sentences.

Father of two, cll diagnosed three years ago and the unknown
For the past 6 weeks I've been unwell with what seem to be the
flu
. Not knowing that everyday for the past 2 weeks I've had constant nose bleeds and vomiting after food, or randomly through the day. Night times suck as I spend most of it in the bathroom.

Advice needed, help from my friends here
Therefore I am taking extra care not to catch covid,
flu
or a cold or anything. I have had my 6th Covid jab which covers omicron, and my
flu
jab. My problem is that my husband wants to go to a sauna evening with friends followed by a meal next weekend.

Covid autumn booster and flu vaccs
Having said I'd have my
flu
and covid booster separately I've just booked to have both at once at our surgery. Has anyone strong feelings either way? I've never had reactions to any of covid jabs ( Astra Zeneca Moderna or Pfizer) or to any
flu
jab.

Angevita and Covid Booster
Does anyone know if I can have the Covid/
Flu
booster/vaccine whilst I'm on Angevita? I can't get hold of my Rheumy nurse to advise. I'm due the vaccines tomorrow ( Saturday 15th Oct) and supposed to take my next dose of Angevita on Monday. Thinking of postponing it for week. Any advice out here?

TSH too low
I was due for blood work last week but was sick with what I now believe was the
flu
so I don’t know if that impacted rt3? Also last time I had blood work we lowered my tirosint (t4) from 125 to 112mcg bc tsh was too low.
