arrhythmia and the flu and Covid vaccine
I had a physical on Wednesday and since I hadn’t received my
flu
and Covid vaccine yet this year went ahead and got them. I came home and did a workout and felt fine until evening when fever and chills hit along with some mild sporadic heart arrhythmia.

I had number 4 last year at the same time as the
flu
vaccine and I was really poorly. But the side effects didn’t last that long. Is it normal?

Temporary Asthma
Fever,
flu
and a bad cough that turned into pressure in my left lung and I started feeling short of breath. The pulmonologist called it airway hyperactivity and its temporary because the air is extremely polluted in my city and he prescribed symbicort powder inhaler capsules.

Afraid of Low blood counts
I'm afraid, being that she's 81 years old and more susceptible to
flu
/infections. Is this normal? I'm assuming this is temporary? Is 3.5 too low, like alarmingly low? Thank you all !

do I need the spring Covid shot?
On October 10 of 2023 I received the Moderna bivalent booster, as well as the
flu
shot and RSV shot. I came down with Covid, for the second time, on March 20 of 2024. First time was April of 2022, I am doing fine now.

hello
I’m beginning to see a correlation between the
flu
vaccination and a flare up. I try to think that each day is a new day and get on with life but I hate prednisolone and the various ways in which it bites you!

Dizziness
It has been on going for a good few weeks It may be a coincidence but I think it started after my last Covid and
Flu
jab, can’t be sure, it may have started just before. I also had a sinus infection after my jabs but that seems to have cleared up.

temperature fluctuations
I have had a problem with my body being very hot to touch with
flu
like feeling, shaking and all over body pain. My cheeks are flushed with a rash on my chin and neck area. If I measure the reading on my abdomen it can be as high as 39 degrees and has been higher than that. I had rigours too.

Shingles Vaccination UK
Hi I am glad to report that I needed no hospital admissions in 2023 (having had 4 in 2022) Decided after open ended discussion with my GP not to take Covid or
Flu
vaccinations as each one had in the past laid me up with fever etc for a week to ten days and feeling dreadful.

Shingles following AF
Cardiologist said it’s quite possible that AF was brought on by the shingles about to appear and can be brought on by illness (
flu
for instance). Anyone else found this - that if you are under the weather you get AF? I know when I am tired the palpitations are worse (although in NSR)

NEIGHBOUR JUST GOT COVID VAX
My neighbour, who helps me during these back issues, just got a Covid booster and
Flu
vax yesterday. Is it possible for her to transmit the virus to me? Is "immune compromised" the correct term for us PMR folk? Am I being paranoid? TIA

New and need help
I walk with a limp as my legs are very weak and I constantly feel like I have the
flu
. I haven’t had a good day yet and obviously haven’t been able to work , I haven’t left listed all my symptoms but that is the general ones.

Delay starting hydrea for vaccines?
My bad, I didn't tell the doctor about my recent COVID and quad
FLU
vaccines. I phoned the clinic and asked a nurse if I could benefit from a better antibody response by delaying initiation of HU treatment for a week or two after receiving the vaccines.
