Hoping you’ll be fine Jean. We’re having ours on Sunday. Never had both at once before so keeping everything crossed. Xxx🤞🏼🩷

I had one in each arm last year and it was fine. One sore arm for a day thats all. Get mine at the pristine fire station on Friday. Hope you we'll all be 🙂

Hopefully you shouldn't, I had my flu jab and for the first time it bled and swelled to and was red and hot for like a week hope you don't have the same reaction or any reactions. Probably just a sore arm maybe x

Sounds like a botched injection . It’s supposed to be subcutaneous not intro muscular so you should get a lot of bleeding but lost people get a sore arm for 48 hrs max

Never had two at once - I get just my flue jab in October. Should be fine jean if doctors have ordered it.

I had the C jab last Thursday. Hardly noticed it. Just slightly sore over night as I tried not to sleep on that side. I've chosen to have flu jab in two weeks. I hope you are fine Jean, using left and right arms seems sensible.

I haven't been asked to go for the c jab yet!

Hi, I’m just catching up! Yes thanks I’m still active. Even though I’ve been taking azitromicin daily, my sputum was still green, so my Consultant put me on Septrin Forty on 1 December, sorry to say no improvement atm, so it will be my other rescue Ciprofloxacin next. I’m ok, not as active as used to be, but having to nebulise twice daily, and have respiratory physio also, takes up time. Hope you’re well and enjoying life, and doing your kind visits to wards etc. Happy Christmas, best wishes, Jean x

Thanks Jean. I was on duty this morning but one ward was closed with COVID. Not good. Clearly it's on the rise, probably in the same boat as flu. But I do have some great stories to type up. I will post later this week. Take care.

Last year I had the second mmr jab and the second hep b jab in each arm as occ health had asked me to have had them to work in that pharmacy job that didn't work out and I had felt extremely disappointed when that happened!

I was fine in myself but I found that because I had the jab on my period that was heavier and lasted longer but the following month was fine.

Mine are booked for the 7th of October. Never had problems with the single ones so I'm hoping for the same result with double.

I’m not keen on them giving both at the same time

Interesting that some people choose to have them both at once. I can understand it if it’s awkward to get out to the place giving the vaccinations. I always have mine a couple of weeks apart so I can separate out any side effects. I tend to get a hot achy arm with both types so don’t want both arms like that at the same time as particularly uncomfortable for laying on to sleep 😊

I also had both vaccines yesterday, I opted to have them in the same arm so that I only have one sore arm, and it is but should wear off quickly !

We had both jabs at the same time last year - think it was one in each arm. One arm had slight tenderness for a day or so but otherwise no after effects, and we felt fine. Are booked for this year’s batch in three weeks’ time.

Hope that all goes as well with you, but think that you should be just fine! Xx
