Passing of Charles Tarleton (Ctarleton)
In early 2017, after two months of what I thought was some kind of bad
flu
, I had been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer with a PSA of 463. I arrived at a local support group one evening, almost shaking with fear. I probably looked like a deer caught in the headlights because I was.

Ideas for managing fatigue
I am shocked by my change, my body just feels like I have
flu
. Advice on working with fibro, running a home etc, looking remotely human! I was once a lipstick and hair done girl. These days I think high five for getting in a shower.

2021 flu jab for over 65s…. Exhaustion going on after it
I’m wondering if anyone is experiencing overwhelming exhaustion ( more than usual level) after this years over 65
flu
jab? I had it 2 weeks ago. Admittedly I wasn’t feeling great when i had the jab, a crash, but didn’t want to not have it early ( have a chronic lung condition).

Mouth Taping
Educate yourself. ie not a good idea to tape if you have been drinking or have a bad cold
flu
...there are lots of online articles/YouTube vids etc. Also, I have noticed 2-3 nights a month...the tape was off when I woke up.

5 years of worsening brain issues
Does anyone have any idea what would cause severe cognitive problems of sudden onset along with a
flu
-like illness, which continue to get worse and lead to other symptoms and health issues if not treated?

Possible side effects of interferon?
I know interferon can cause muscle pain but I imagined something more like the type of aching you get with a
flu
. Has anyone experienced issues like the ones I describe above? I’m just not sure whether it’s a side effect of the meds or just independent issues.

Week 3 run 1 with friend recovering from a cold and me recovering from a
flu
jab, I’d hate to put anyone off because i think it’s important as many people are vaccinated against
flu
but that’s not been fun at all.

In the rain and the cold
I was volunteering at a
flu
clinic this morning and decided to run after this, at 11am. At 7am, when I couldn't drag myself out of bed, it wasn't raining. At 11am it was spitting. But I took off down a lane and into a muddy path.

After 2 Pfizer injections and the booster, I have Covid
Also
flu
shot. I was told I HAVE Blood Clots in lungs. Medication is 6 months of Xyrelta anti coagulant, and monoclonal antibody infusion. I had no fever, none of the identified ails that are said to be part of Covid infection.....however , lab tests and CTScan showed blood clots.

3rd COVID vaccine and flu jab - ✔️
Had both of these yesterday. The vaccinator explained that this is a 3rd dose and I will be offered a booster in about 8 weeks! My arm is very tender, actually both are, but the COVID arm worse by far. I’m feeling quite tired and a bit nauseous but otherwise ok. My poor body - I had my usual tocilizumab

Can I choose which Covid booster to have and which should I choose?
I also had mild
flu
like symptoms. These lasted ten days. I thought given my usual problems with meds I d got away with it very light! My second jab, back in April was a different story. Within an hour pain had moved up my arm, across my shoulders, into my neck and down my other arm.

In defence of Covid booster
So please everyone get your Covid booster and
flu
jabs. And if you haven't had the 1st Covid jab please do so. Not just for your health but that of family and friends. And for all the people unable to have the vaccine due to health problems.

Extra B12 needed post vaccination?
Last weekend I received my 3rd COVID and
Flu
vaccines. I had no after affects, however am experiencing symptoms that I need my B12 now. I usually SI every fortnight, however this will be after only 5 days. Can anyone suggest why the vaccines pull so much on our B12?

Update....Post-Immunization/booster. Covid over. PMR Flare Blazing. YIPPEE! .... .
I had two Pfizer injections, then the Booster as it came available, and my annual
flu
jab. No fever with Covid infection, but did have shortness of breath. Ultimately, a trip to the hospital and a bunch of tests revealed I had break-through Covid.

Anyone had Covid booster & flu vacciination at same time?
Wondering if anyone has had the Covid Booster &
Flu
vaccination at the same time? I am thinking perhaps better not to do so. Also was a different Covid vaccine given for the booster dose? Any adverse effects? Many thanks in advance for all replies.

Cold & Cough medicine
My pharmacist says I shouldn't take cold/
flu
remedies. I'm currently suffering with what seems to be the "worst cold and cough ever", as described on the BBC website. What can I take?
