Starting on Verzenio
Hello all my fellow thrivers! After taking Piqray + monthly shots of Fulvestrant and Zoladex for more than a year, my latest pet scan revealed progression and found new mets in liver, lymph nodes and bone. Therefore, my oncologist is starting me on Verzenio 100mg next week while keeping my Fulvestrant

Buprenorphine
Hello, have many UK people found it easy or hard to get Buprenorphine px by GP to control pain from RLS? I have been withdrawing from Pramepexole and using only codeine however it is now not effective in controlling my pain. I have a GP appointment in a few days and was going to ask for Buprenorphine

ANXIETY DISORDER AND PANIC DISORDER
Hello Great people! I’ve just been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and panic disorder. And it’s affecting my daily functioning and I can’t focus , I’m scared, worrying about unnecessary things. Is it curable? Any help to survive this situation , perhaps things I could do to help me straighten up. Thank

Paclitaxel and hair loss
hi everyone, I have just had my 3rd paclitaxel today, I am on weekly doses via IV and have no signs of my hair falling out? Not even a slight bit? I’m concerned that it means it’s not working, has this happened to anyone else or does the hair loss come a little later down the line?

Reply to issues with Spleen
Hi, I agree with most of these comments on here that the enlargement of your spleen is an indication perhaps that you are ready for some form of treatment, not removal. I had chemotherapy in 2020 and my spleen was massive. After a treatment cycle of FCR for 6 months and neutropenia sepsis for 10

Hi, has anyone else found that laxative treatments containing Macrogol increases their pain and bloating considerably? I have just been put on this and Mebeverine, but am still in a lot of pain, which seems worse when I take Macrogol. Thanks

Autophagy could be bad for those who have cancer?
I was already aware for a few years that autophagy, which is triggered by intermittent fasting and long fasts, is very useful to prevent cancer as it is recycles old damaged proteins that could otherwise turn into cancer and also because it helps your body produce new cells and refreshes your immune

Hello all, & blessed wishes during the Holiday Season. 🎄 I must admit I haven't been on here for a while, but I hope someone can give me some answers. I was diagnosed with Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer stage 4 in 2021. I have had 6 rounds of Chemo, & a total hysterectomy. I've been doing Avastin since

Tenesmus etc
Hello. I have had chronic consipation for for over 30 years and rely on suppositories to get my bowels working. More recently I have had loose & fragmented stool with bouts of diarrhea. Difficult for others to understand but even when I feel a neeed to "go", I usually need suppositories to get started

Hi I’ve been suffering from haemorrhoids for a few months. It’s been getting better very gradually by eating a very high fibre diet to keep my stool very soft. But this has had the side effect of causing urgency several times a day. It’s making it very difficult to leave the house. I’ve had ibs for
