Hiya, I had piles from constipation 2 years ago. Personally what helped me the most was to remove gluten from my diet. Within weeks my bathroom habit became super regular, every morning without fail. I take 120mg magnesium citrate following dr's advice, which boosts motility when my body is flooded with estrogen/progesterone. I'd also add healthy fats e.g. omega-3.

Hiya, an amazing and natural way to get rid of constipation is to put a few prunes (stone removed) in a cup of boiling water and let them soften for 5-10 mins. Then mash them all up in the water (looks a bit yucky but tastes actually very sweet and delicious) and drink/eat the prune/water mixture while it’s still hot. And then drink another cup of hot water afterwards if you can.

If you do this first thing in the morning before you eat anything then it is really effective! It has kept me regular during both of my pregnancies :) You'll have to test out how many prunes works best for you - these days I only need 2-3 in the water but at the start I used to need 6 prunes to move things! It should work within an hour of drinking it.

Feel better soon!
