wiped out after second pfizer jab
Ten days after my second pfizer jab i went dowhill rather quickly. Exhaustion, stiffness and pain in lower back, buttocks and groin. I have been getting flares regularly over the last year, this seems to be much worse. I've gone up to 21mgs deflazacort which doesn't seem to do much. I'm left pretty

Hi everyone, I was recently diagnosed with p-vera. Have been treated by a local hematologist/oncologist with expert consult from doctor at Weill Cornell. Seems like a good combination. After many phlebotomies, have been on pegasys for a couple of months (started at 45 now at 90 mcg now) which is recently

Sore ankle strikes again 😞
Hi When I did a version of C25k with a running club about 5 years ago I ended up with a painful ankle and eventually gave the running up. I've just completed week 7 and that painful ankle is back 😞😞😞 I really don't know what to do. It's an ankle that I have sprained a couple of times so I think

Loperamide takes at least four hours to work
Why do so many sources say that loperamide "works within an hour"? After I take it I always continue to poop for at least four hours. Then it settles down and the effects last into the next day, when I have solid stool (never happens without loperamide) or even constipation. Is this the same for anyone

Adrenal Crisis
I am now on 8 mgs prednisolone. Due to reduce soon. Am I now in adrenal crisis zone? Had letter from GP surgery giving me advice on steroid emergency card I am now supposed to carry. A little bit anxious as I start to get to the point where my adrenal glands have to start to work.

Can't catch a break
I was in the process of reducing my prednisone down to 9mg and started instituting an exercise regimen that includes biking. This past Wednesday I went out for a ride and disaster struck almost immediately. About 5 minutes into my ride, at a nice pace, I hit a pothole and was thrown from my bike. When

Can some of you wonderfully kind people PM with details of where I can source NDT, bovine or porcine, from any country that will deliver to UK. I used to get Nature-Throid from the USA but they still do not have any in stock. TIA

I have Fibromyalgia and FND and recently fell injuring my back and pelvis more. Im already maxed out on Longtec 120mg daily and Duloxatine. It's become apparent that the current treatment isn't working for me and just offers a slight energy burst. I'm getting MRI tomorrow. Is there a particular pain

White nails still worried.
I recently got white nails and posted about this before. My liver blood values are good and my doctor tells me not to worry. But they are still very white. I'm more and more concerned now. I also suffer from a depression. However, my doctor sees no reason to send me for further examination. I drank

prednisone withdrawal symptoms
A cute little leaflet with surprisingly grim recommendations.... "A full recovery can take anywhere from a week to several months. Contact your doctor if you experience prednisone withdrawal symptoms as you are tapering off the drug. .......... Current Guidelines • Patients be informed of the signs
