Health outcomes differ between UK and US children with cystic fibrosis.
A new study led by University of Liverpool researchers has confirmed that children with cystic
fibrosis
(CF) in the US have better lung function than UK children with the disease.

Covid vaccinations
She has limited cutaneous systemic scerlosis, pulmonary
fibrosis
and COPD and a very irregular heartbeat. Has anyone with similar condition/symptons to her had the jab (and which one) and were there any side effects after having this? She has had blood clots before so is very wary about the AZ.

There is light at the end of the tunnel…
Hi I’ve had VA for a good few years and had 2 gynae ops to double check the source of the bleeding. I was finally diagnosed and prescribed Vagifem. However, I stopped using them after 6 months as I kept getting urinal tract infections. I’m happy to say the bleeding has practically stopped on its own

Despite doing three long sessions of drainage for my Sarcoidosis, Lung
Fibrosis
and Brochiectasis, I still get tickling sensations in the left lung. This is affecting my sleep. It goes on and on. Grunting and clearing....grunting and clearing.

Finally a member of the ablation club as of yesterday at st barts
Was told by doctor before procedure that trying to pinpoint the specific areas of
fibrosis
is extremely difficult. He said the majority of rogue signals will be coming from the pulmonary vein area? So this is the area they treat and according to him this is successful 80% of the time on average.

Mirena for heavy periods
Hello, I had the Mirena coil fitted 4 months ago for heavy periods, with fibroids and adenomyosis. I had to wait a year to get a gynecology appointment, and had a hysteroscopy, and the Mirena fitted at the same time. I have not had a follow up appointment, and have been finding it hard to even get through

Has your Oncologist broke up with you???
Well Hello, On Thursday went to start my 2nd cycle of Topotecan, which I thought was the norm type of day - blood drawn, labs, visit Dr and then get treatment. Well when my Oncologist came into the room sat down and said he thinks it isn't working because lately I was getting nauseous. So he doesn't

Triiodothyronine ameliorates silica-induced pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis in mice
And the mechanism by which T3 treatment ameliorated silica-induced
fibrosis
appeared to be via the reduction of glycolysis. Also, T3 could sufficiently postpone the progression of pulmonary
fibrosis
in established silicosis.

Is anyone on Endometriosis treatment taking supplements for IVF egg quality?
Hi All, I’m looking to start a new IVF cycle after taking a break following 2 unsuccessful cycles a few years ago. I suffer from endometriosis and currently on Decapeptyl SR 3mg and Tibolone. My previous failed IVF cycles were due to poor quality eggs which resulted in no pregnancies. After reading

Fibroscan result 7.9
Could this level of
fibrosis
be causing my symptoms. How accurate is it for this range of
fibrosis
? I have not had a drink for 5 weeks and never plan drinking again. I’d like to work on my diet but have been too nauseous to eat much and have lost 8 kg in the last 5 weeks.
