Thin Uterine Lining

On our 3rd FET cycle, my scan showed this morning that my follicle was 17mm, and uterus lining 5mm. Bloods unfortunately showed I started ovulating at 3.6 for progesterone. The doctor gave me the option of taking the trigger shot today for FET next week or come for scans tomorrow in the hopes that my uterus lining is 7mm+, and I haven't ovulated yet. The doctor said if i did the FET next week there would be a high chance of it not working, and theres a high chance ovulation will take place before tomorrow. Lose lose situation it seems. Hopefully I have made the right decision. I'm just looking for some support from others who can share similar experience. Or any tips? At the moment I just feel don't understand how we got so unlucky.
