Natural FET Vs Medicated FET

Hope you get some replies that help in your decision making If you ovulate on your own a natural cycle can be considered- if not medicated cycle would "help " the process along with injections etc Might be an idea to discuss your concerns with your consultant . Ask which one he would recommend

I had 5 natural with no luck and was going to do another one but since it was my last embryo my doc monitored me so much closer and it was found even though I ovulate and have a normal cycle with good lining thickness my estrogen levels were not rising to a good level so we cancelled and moved to medicated and it worked
I’ve read lots of stories on here where women have tried medicated for a few cycles and switched to natural and had success
Have you done either before ?
Do you mind me asking referring to the 5 that were natural. Did you get any postive test? The reason I ask is because I have had 4 transfers from the last collection. All were natural FET. I would get a positive for a day or so and then to tail off so I can conclude it was a chemical pregnancy. Therefore it did implant to an extent but came away straight away. So not sure what that could be telling me.
I never got a positive with the natural transfers
Did you have a trigger shot with yours at all?
Sometimes they give that and it even with natural transfers and it can show up on tests
No trigger shot. I think trigger shot only counts if you have a fresh transfer. I have never qualified for fresh transfer because I have too many follicules every time. So always been a Frozen embryo transfer. It's hard to know what to do right now. Will of course discuss more with clinic but always interesting to hear other peoples experiences xx
Yeah for sure 👍
I always think it’s good to try something different if the same thing is not working
I just figured as I seemed to be ovulating normally etc there was no issues to continue trying natural
Yeah. I'm not even that regular. But they seem to be ok with identifying my natural ovulation but I do wonder because I am not clock work.
I was clockwork really
28-29 day cycles
Looking back my body may have just needed that extra support
Who know ?
Medicated is a bit more of a pain as you have to take meds for 10 weeks after the transfer but I think it’s worth it if it works
