So it’s time for 2nd embryo transfer, this time it’s FET, not fresh. I am on Progynova right now (which I was not on first time). Then I will start Cyclogest 2x a day, plus a progesterone injection daily. My scan is next week just to check all is fine before booking in for FET.
Any advice would be appreciated regarding preparing for FET, as this is my first frozen transfer. I am eating as healthy as possible, taking all my supplements, etc…
xx

I am exactly the same as you. 1st FET, my lining scan is tomorrow with potential transfer on the 27th. Are you doing accupuncture? I am also trying to get sleep, avoid stress and staying active with around 10,000 steps a day.
good luck
Are you finding the Progynova is effecting your skin? I have awful spots from it
Hey lovely! Aww I hope everything went well with your lining scan. I had mine today. Thankfully all was good and due for FET next week I think next day after yours! I haven’t tried acupuncture but I have enquired about it. Not sure if it’s too late now as I have 1 week until FET?
Progynova has been okay for me, but yes I did have skin issues? Not spots but itching! It was horrible! It has calmed down now, I think it was just as my body was getting used to the medication.
Wow 10k steps a day I am proud of this!!! I have to admit I am bad when it comes to exercise but I will definitely start from tomorrow if it’s helpful! Xx
Hey lovely yes my lining was about 9.5 I think or something like that! I take it that is good? I’m not so educated on all that 😀 ah hope progesterone is going well for you so far. Are you on the injection plus cyclogest pessaries? I start mine Sunday xx
Yep exactly the same for me! I start progesterone Sunday though. Are you Cyclogest rectally or vaginally? Sorry for this question I know it’s quite intense 😆 I’m just deciding which was to do them. It says online nationally absorbs better but then my clinic have said it doesn’t matter x
I'm also in same boat as you. 41yrs Currently on Progynova for my 1st FET, scan on the 24th for lining check then cyclogest x2 a day. My skin has become sensitive I noticed I get hot and itchy with certain clothes atm, mainly my waist and neck, never had that before so putting it down to the tabs It's an exciting but anxious time. Get plenty of rest and eat well. Fingers crossed for each of you xx
Aww best of luck to you!!! This is my first FET also. Previously had a fresh failed transfer unfortunately. I’m hoping the frozen transfer works its magic this time! Itchiness I struggled with as well! I am sure it’s just from the tablets as it was one of the symptoms my husband read apparently online. Xx
good luck with your FET! Just keep doing as your doing. There’s nothing in particular you need to do except try to keep stress levels down, eat well and look after yourself. I did a few sessions of acupuncture, and had a session before and the day off transfer afterwards. Then just do what you need to do to keep yourself distracted during the 2WW! All the best with everything xx
My transfer was in Nov and yes it was positive I’m currently 15wks. The acupuncturist I went to specialised in fertility and they just recommended that’s what I do, I guess to keep stress levels down. It’s difficult to know if that make the difference but I was willing to give it a try. Xx
That’s amazing I am happy for you it all worked out! Congratulations and I hope the pregnancy goes smoothly for you xx it’s nice to hear positive stories 😀
Hi Pizza I'm also about to have a FET. Feeling sore from lubion injections and tired but I'm not doing anything in particular apart from eating well, taking the medications and my supplements. Not sure why but since starting estrogen I've been having poor sleep, not major but I wake up at 4-5 sometimes which is unheard of from me. How are you feeling?
Hi lovely I hope you are coping OK with the progesterone I actually start my Luian injections on Sunday +2 Cyclogest daily. I actually wake up multiple times in the night as well since starting estrogen so I am in the same boat as you! I also feel very fatigued and tired all the time and I do get really bad since starting the medication xx
