Looking to support my friend through breast cancer

Hello everyone,

Thanks for letting me join this community. I used to use the fertility network here a lot and found it to be a wealth of knowledge and comfort.

My close friend has just been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I want to support her in anyway I can. I guess I'm here for advice and to learn. Wishing you all positivity and strength through this.

It’s good that your friend has you! She will need someone to check things for her - has she got an appointment? With the right people? Is the date correct in her diary? Can she get there? Has she the phone numbers of anybody she needs to contact? Is there a breast cancer nurse? If she’s to have chemo, she will get brain fog. Is she aware of the steps to be taken?

There is a community here - and it’s full of women who are still alive and kicking! She’s not alone and she is lucky to have you.
