Antibiotics after EMMA test and before an IVF cycle
I am assuming taking probiotics after a course of antibiotics should not affect IVF, however I am worried that antibiotics might have a detrimental effect on
fertility
. Many thanks.

Be of Good Cheer
So, we all dressed in green since, as I am sure you all know, May Day is derived (they say) from an old Roman festival celebrating life and
fertility
. That theme was developed. Honed through the introduction and use of the manly Maypole in Medieval times.

In what it says is world first, Hadassah medical team saves fetus’s twisted ovaries
When this happens, the ovary dies, damaging
fertility
and the hormonal production needed for female health.

Removing tube and possibly ovary - Salpingo-oophorectomy
Once home I started googling and read how it can lower
fertility
chances, even using ivf, and also can cause menopausal symptoms due to the decrease in hormones. Or anyone who has had this done and it been successful for them?

Fertility and Advanced Fiborsis
i pose the question, if we were to go back to medical route and get help with
fertility
, is the chances of a complete and successful pregnancy rare? We don’t really wanna go through the trauma of another M/C with also the financial burden associated thanks

Diagnosed Today
I have already asked the question if I can get clomid from my GP and not have to be referred to a
fertility
specialist as I know the waiting lists are anything from 6 months to 24 months just for a consultation.

My
fertility
clinic is abroad; they have conducted further investigations for posible causes of the unsuccessful transfers. Doctors have prescribed some hormones to try and shrink a very small fibroid (outside my uterus).

How important is morphology?
After months of waiting for an appointment to discuss the results the NHS
fertility
nurse has advised that the sample is ‘normal’ and that morphology isn’t even considered as any sort of indicator at all of

Polyp in Uterus during stems & freezing embryos
Hello everyone, we got to day 8 of stims and found ourselves at a cross road in our
fertility
journey. Our ultrasound today showed a polyp that the team would like to remove before insemination.

Endometriosis & Adenomyosis / Prostap
Since my
fertility
clinic has recommended a protocol of 3 x months of Prostap then a FET (with my wife’s eggs) and the possibility of introducing steroids (have used this on previous cycle). On a waiting list for laparoscopy with hospital but this wait could be long.

IVF round 2
My AMH levels are crazily high (260) so my
fertility
clinic have to be very careful not to over stimulate my ovaries that could land me feeling very poorly and could be quite dangerous, so our first round was on a low dose of the stims injections which resulted in the retrieval of 6 eggs.

Low AMH and Metformin (insulin resistance)
Hi all I know Metformin is often used in
fertility
for people who have PCOS, therefore with a high ovarian reserve. I have had an insulin resistance test recently which showed elevated levels, it has been suggested I take Metformin for it.

I was wondering if anyone has used Gaia
fertility
or have heard any good stories of people using them for finance support? Are they reliable and ‘does what it says on the tin’ or not that great? Any advice/experiences appreciated :) Hope you all had a lovely festive season x
